FWIW I am still waiting for a full £20k 24/25 ISA transfer from Chip. This has now breached the 10 day deposit time limit to facilitate the T212 promo. I contacted T212 on chat and they told me they would manually reactivate the expired bonus rate when the transfer completed in light of the fact my transfer had been requested during the time limit, and that I couldn't even deposit £1 as I'd already maxed the £20 allowance at Chip. YMMV.

I have just opened a Trading 212 account today and set up a Cash ISA with the new customer bonus interest rate.

I searched MSE website and found a 'Money Tips' newsletter that made reference to the T212 Cash ISA bonus % and I clicked the link which opened up the T212 website showing the enhanced interest rate of 4.86% and I then went on to open an account and transfer money into the ISA from my bank, all within the T212 website. Just needed to verify my ID by photographing my driving licence. All quite simple.

When my T21 ISA was set up, in the settings there is an option to add a Promo Code and i've read on here that 'MSE' works

If it's showing 4.68% (not 4.86% by the way), then you've opened it fine and are getting the best rate

I suspect the promo code you are referring to is for free shares, which you won't be eligible for because you've already benefited from the boosted ISA rate. You can't have both as far as I'm aware.

I'm not after any free shares, I was just pointing out where the option was to enter a promo code, which I think is one way of obtaining the new customer interest bonus.
