As the title suggests, I opened a Cash ISA using the link from MSE which should have provided 5.1% interest [0.2 above the current rate of 4.9%] however now my funds have been transferred I find that I am not getting 5.1% but 4.9%.
Anyone else found similar?0 -

Anyone else found similar?
I moved my ISA from Virginmoney to Moneybox to T212.

Just opened a Trading 212 cash isa using the MSE link online but also got the app.
Currently, on the app my interest states only 4.9% not 5.1%. Is this because I completed the account set up on the app? However, MSE states open online or via app.
Or is this the default and they don't show the bonus. As I have had a Tandem account, I'm used to seeing the bonus included.
Thanks for any helpful ideas.0 -

Shame MSE didn't put that in their detailed descriptive piece. Thanks for the help!0

Crabman said:Why is the promo rate only available to new customers? Is that "treating customers fairly" per the FCA?
Deals only available to new customers are quite widespread, such as current account switching incentives, or the equivalent for investment and pension transfers, or introductory interest rates (such as Nationwide's FlexDirect), or arguably even Plum's lower rate for ISA transfers, but that doesn't in itself mean that they're compliant with FCA rules and regulations if someone is able and willing to make a coherent case to the contrary?0 -
