Have you had to agree to repay a certain amount if you leave before a certain date?

So now I am called one thing on my job title and literally do a completely different job. Not just a few different tasks, literally a totally different job. The only two new people who were hired to do the same job as me are paid ~£20k more than me!” This is definitely worth a chat with HR. Feels like discrimination to me.

Mmmm, perhaps they are trying to sneakily get the "knowledge in her head" (and your head) documented???
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

Yeah, I suspect there is a bit of discrimination going on. But, it suits me right now to stay put and it will help no end when I am interviewing at my next place to have all this experience to draw on. 😁

Being happy in your job is worth so much - stress and toxic workplace takes a serious toll.

I know few people who feel happy in their occupation - the unicorn blessed ones.  It’s worth much more than a healthy bank balance IMO

Definitely this! My work bestie has had to train four new senior managers in the past 6months! Literally they come, see the crazy situation we are in, and leave. She has become the continuity in her team.

And I am the same for the major project I am on. Literally everyone else has left or been replaced over the last 12 months, so now I sit there as the lowest paid person in the room, pointing out the massive holes in their plans or telling them who the need to speak to in order to help join dots together. The last time I had a wobble and almost left, I had just met my current manager’s manager, and I ended up going to our more senior manager to report feeling very uncomfortable about some of the things the new manager said to me because of my gender. Her reaction was, tough, she’s not going to do anything and if I still feel the same in 6 months I should leave (she didn’t know me at all at this point). My reaction was, well, thanks for the support but no worries I’m just going to outlast you all. I pointed out that they were both new and given that they were my 15 and 16th new managers in 3 years (no kidding!), I bet her that she wouldn’t still be here in 6months so no need to worry about it. Faster forward to today and that same senior manager is one of those approving my apprenticeship, and guess what, she’s currently working her notice! 🤣 She lasted 8 months so I wasn’t far off! haha

Another item sold on ebay - £13.73 this time. I think it might be the new ‘buyer protection fee’ that is putting people off. I realised the item I sold for £2.50, actually cost the buyer over £6 once the fees and postage were added. I wouldn’t have paid £6 for the item (albeit it cost £30 new), so no wonder people arn’t buying. I wish I didn’t hate car booting as much as I do. 😕

Another eBay item just sold for £3.50. How weird! Literally no sales for weeks, then 3 in less than 24hours. I’d given up with listing but maybe I’ll add a few more items.

Still only ever sold one thing through Vinted though! I get a decent amount of items favourited but then nothing. I am very tempted to just stick to eBay. Whilst I do hate their new Buyer Protection fee, I have genuinely made money through eBay before. Everything I have heard about Vinted makes me think great for buying but rubbish for making any money from selling.

I have had nothing sell on eBay for weeks and virtually no interest in Buy It Now with free postage.
So to change it up, I relisted 6 items on auction with the buyer paying postage and all of them have had views, watchers etc. Two have got bids which will end up being more than the amount I wanted for BiN!
