The suggestion for batch cooking is an excellent one, also TGTG bags. Really don't think you're doing anyone any favours having MDs....they are ultra processed rubbish, doing more harm than good.
    Hope you feel better today.

So today is roast day. It has always been agreed that I buy the roast stuff for all of us and for the past few months I’ve paid dd2 to cook it as part of the jobs she does each week. Somehow I forgot to buy potatoes, and as I still wasn’t up to going shopping today, plus I had run out of dog food, I asked dd1 to pop into Tesco on her way home. That led to a bit of a delay on starting the roast, so dd2 decided to cook some single portions of lasagna so she could freeze them. Zero prompting from me needed!

dd1 was so sweet that she also bought the dogs a toy each, and dd2 and I some chocolate. She then came in and eyed-up a lasagna which was fresh and yummy, and just sitting there calling her name! Bless her, turns out she’d not had much sleep last night and had been so busy she’d not properly eaten all day. She was also off out to the cinema this evening so would miss the roast. So as a thank you (and really to in some way pay her back for getting us treats), I bought one of the lasagna portions from dd2 to give to dd1. 🤣 It was at this moment that I both loved and hated the fact that dd2 is studying business and has learnt to haggle! That’s another £2.50 taken out of my £50. 😬

In terms of £5’s, today has been better than yesterday, though still pretty low on the effort put in from me. I did list and sell a thing though! Plus the £16.88 came in from the ebay sale a few days ago. 😁 That’s already over £100 cash in so far this month!

That's a good amount for just one week into the month.

Had no intention of upsetting you, was merely offering my opinion.  I wish you luck in your debt busting journey & will unsubscribe from your diary. X
