I have a cash ISA with Trading 212 and haven't had any issues with it (though I haven't needed to contact them). I was planning on transferring my 2023-2024 ISA allowance that matures on 31/01/25 in the 1 year fixed term ISA it's currently in, but this post has made me nervous - never heard of 2FA - could you explain what it is please?1 -
Very recently opened an 212 account to improve returns on cash. Have for awhile been put off by its ultimate Bulgarian ownership ( Bulgaria are on the UK Government FAFT list for high risk of financial crimes and money laundering - one of only three European countries listed including Croatia and Monaco!).
Have set up the account via their app, and was immediately perturbed that there is no biometric security whatsoever ( every single one of my other financial apps this is standard protection). For me, not incorporating biometrics appears to be retrograde penny pinching where client security is concerned. Have enabled passcode security as a fallback for the modest sum now generating interest, but would very much like to see them investing in biometrics before I will entrust them with more sizeable sums.0 -
It doesn't seem to require anything to log in. I just open the app and it's all thereI consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0

Seems to be documented here too: https://helpcentre.trading212.com/hc/en-us/articles/360008554098-How-to-add-a-Passcode-Lock-for-extra-security0 -
I struggle with biometric logon anyway. For whatever reason it takes ages for my Samsung phone to learn my fingerprint then it rarely recognises it. Given up trying to retrain it or use it in apps I must just have weird fingerprints.
I've had my own domain name since the 90s so give every company a different email address which all goes to the same Gmail account. That way its easy to see from the message headers which company leaked my address to spammers and block it at the server. Similarly if somewhere gets hacked the email address will be no use elsewhere.1 -

I fear face ID might also be an issue for me as it might not cope with my blue energised hedgehog features.

My Tablet version of 212 only offers passcode or 2 factor options in the privacy security settings. Curious to say the least.0
