It really goes to show how very small payments can add up and make a difference. I read your diary daily, read the NSD and your daily payment and think to myself Ive spent more than that today on rubbish or nonsense.

It wont be long before that figure starts with a 25.
Thank you. Yes the small payments really do add up. I think they are good because at the start they are only small but that is when you have most motivation, when you start out. They are there but you dont notice them as much. But then when they start to add up down the line they give you a boost on a daily basis because you can really see them adding up and making a difference, which gives you encouragement on a daily basis.

Yeh i literally don't spend any money other than the essentials. I just go to work and come home and that is it. I have devoted this year to getting out of debt so that is where i spend every available penny. Although i do have my treat night out to see Jimmy Carr coming up next month which im looking forward to.

Yes, im looking forward to next month where i will be below the £2,000 mark and then it will seem like im on the home strait somewhat.  o:)

How do you remember what daily amount you are up to? Do you check on here, have a spreadsheet or just check on your bank account and add a penny on each day?

I have a spreadsheet that i enter my amounts in daily. I open this forum and copy my previous days post. Then i change the daily payment figure. Then i enter the new figure into my spreadsheet. That then calculates the total paid for the month and how much i have left remaining to pay in total. I then change the figures on my post and make sure they match my spreadsheet. I then log into my online banking and check to see if there have been any direct debits made that day or not and make sure the next payment im about to make is 1p more than the previous one on my statement. Then i go to my credit card and make my payment and make sure the balances match what is on my spreadsheet and my post on here.

The cumulative effect of the payments to Natwest CC are really astounding, well done!
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?
