Nor any cover for non receipt of items
A DD would be set up using Sort code & Acc no.

Please check the above. I think I mean to say automatic payment.1 -
So not a DD then.👍
Not sure how a chargeback would play out here, as you are not paying for the product. You are paying a credit loan back.
So might be worth contacting Barclays if it might fall under S75, but even that is a long shot.Life in the slow lane2 -

Thanks all for the advice. My bank has come back to ask for more information about the order. And have promise to charge back. I will keep updating this thread as new information unfolds.2

My bank has finally dispute the transaction but still awaiting feedback from Amazon.
I have received this message twice from Amazon but I don't know if I should respond:
Hello,
We’re sorry that your recent delivery experience with order 206-889..... didn’t go as expected. To ensure your future deliveries arrive on time, we’d appreciate your help in updating your delivery preferences. It takes less than 2 minutes and can make a big difference - not just in preventing missed deliveries, but also in reducing the environmental impact of reattempted deliveries. Here’s how to update your delivery instructions:Click the button below to access your list of delivery addresses.Under your addresses, select “Add delivery instructions.”Scroll to the bottom and choose “Add more instructions.”Expand the “Do we need additional instructions to find this address?” dropdown.Provide details about your preferred delivery location or other helpful instructions.Select “Save instructions” to finalize.Thank you for helping us deliver better!Best regards,Amazon
Although, this has nothing to do with the current dispute. The order was supposed to be delivered on a Friday but they said they ran into a problem and delivered the brown paper on Saturday. I think this is the reason for the message.
I am just getting my self prepared in case it leads to small court so that I will no be caught unaware.
Thanks all.1 -
My bank has just come back to me that Amazon did not accept the chargeback. So, my bank loose the dispute. My best option now is small court claims.0
