    @Soontobeoap, here is the link to the pattern and instructions. The trickiest bit is getting the material into the metal and sewing in the holes.

    I think this unnamed thread (but probably silko) was from Mr ds granny's stash.  I inherited this back in 1989 and thought it was a beigey colour.  Now I've started using it for tacking I see it has faded from a sort of plum colour 😆
