Hi, I’d like to join in very late for 2025 or early for 2026 depending on how you see it! I’m trying to get back to my frugal previous ways, having lost sight of them a little in the last year. Part of this is going to be using up the craft stash I have to make gifts instead of buying them, and to keep me out of mischief and away from online shopping. I’ve got some nice wool which is enough to do maybe 3 projects and a barely started book nook, lots of beads and wire from previous forays into jewellery making etc. I also inherited my late grandma’s unfinished cross stitch projects which I’ve not been able to bear to do yet, but might try to work up to.“Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming” 🐠https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6098084/discount-duck-s-quest-for-mortgage-freedom#latest7

I think this unnamed thread (but probably silko) was from Mr ds granny's stash. I inherited this back in 1989 and thought it was a beigey colour. Now I've started using it for tacking I see it has faded from a sort of plum colour 😆
