    Thanks GP and GB!
🐙 auditor has been and there's a litany of (relatively small) issues with the install - he was lovely and understood my issues too. So someone will definitely be coming back to put things right, but I will still be making a separate complaint about the pipe run, although I don't think he thought I'd get them to re-run it (although as the heat pump itself will need to be moved for them to make good on his list, I guess it's not beyond the realms of possibility).
Supermarket delivery has been made and I am apoplectic with rage that for no obvious reason our staff discount has been removed (after nearly 20 years?!). No wonder it seemed so expensive. Awaiting further instruction from Mr MV (said staff member) about what should be happening here (also turns out that his parents didn't get their discount earlier in the week either). It had better be retrospectively applied, that's all I can say.
All of those distractions aside, I've made fairly good progress with what is a fairly tricky bit of work for main client - I've not had one of these for a while and my brain has rather a lot taxing it already at the moment! Have forewarned main client that it might take a while and haven't heard back, so clearly that's not an issue.
Heading off to hospital shortly. Niece has had another scan this morning and is back to nil by mouth - Sis will be eating lunch outside the ward!

Vix it could be worthj suggesting your sister has a look to see if any of the hospital food outlets are on TGTG - at ours there is both an M&S & a Costa which have pretty much daily offerings, so if she is stuck needing hospital food at any stage at least it might be substantially cheaper.

It can take a long while for the redness associated with cellulitis to retreat - and indeed MrEH's did continue to spread for several days after the  antibiotics were started. we were told that the redness and swelling might take a long while to properly disappear, although they obviously get progressively less noticeable.

Hopefully the scan will reveal what is going on a bit more clearly  - might need a change of antibiotics, perhaps? Poor thing being nil by mouth though - that's not going to be fun on top of already being in pain and fed up with being messed about with.

Thank you EH - hadn’t thought of TGTG, brilliant, I will check that out. And that’s really helpful about the redness too - might put Sis’s mind at rest a bit. Thank you so much!

Thanks Jessy. Niece had surgery last night to relieve the pressure (and pus, sorry, TMI!). Hopefully recovery should be straightforward now. Keeping Sis company was a stressful evening.
Car is in for its MOT today, so we're both at home and will visit later - Sis may take the opportunity to shoot home, have a shower and get some clean clothes (not expected to be leaving hospital before tomorrow afternoon at the earliest.

Supermarket is giving me some BS about getting staff discount reinstated (on chat - I was posing as Mr MV). Why is nothing ever straightforward?! I still haven't had a chance to complain to 🐙 either. And to cap it all, I had my professional intelligence questioned by AI this morning and had to justify decisions I and another professional had made to a machine (the end client had sent our work to the AI and was now querying the quality of what we'd done) - and the machine was vastly more wrong in more places than the two tiny mistakes it spotted! 🤬 And that was the best part of an hour gone, unpaid. Am back to work for main client, which is still hard going, but I am getting there (I'd really like it done before hospital visiting later). Have at least managed to quickly check the Cambridge inbox.

Oh, tmv - fingers crossed that DN is now fully on the road to recovery and the timely surgical intervention lets her body get on top of the inflammation.

You really are under pressure at the mo - and having to justify yourself to a machine?  I'm sorry, I have no words.
