@bubbs - it's a chicken tikka masala with pilau rice from the Co-op.  The details I gave are for the syns estimator!  I used to use it loads when I was going to group and bought new things!

Thanks @bubbs.  It\s the irresistible one so 12 syns.  It's actually better than I expected and within Swips!  Am I ever going to get used to that word!

Thanks for the info the other day of the wholemeal flour being HEB for 45g.  Going to make use of that this month and make a proper pizza!

Can I ask you if there is any particular wholemeal English muffin which is HEB?  Are the Warburton Protein muffins HEB?

The curry was OK but certainly not worth 12 sys, also could have done with more rice.  Pleased I was also able to have some mango chutney and still be under syns!

Welcome back from your holiday @joedenise and well done on just managing to stay within swips (😁) on your first day back.

Good to see you posting again @Longwalker. You've done brilliantly to stay at target all year and then to keep things in check over Christmas is amazing. 👍

I'm interested in what you said about syn/swip values changing with the new books and updates. I've just decided after 14+ years to try going it alone. It was mainly because my consultant cancelled her morning group and other times/days /consultants didn't suit. I'm sure you and others who go to group will keep us posted.

Hope you are feeling better @Coxy11. 🤗

Enjoy your meal in Glasgow @Jellybaby. Steak and no wine syns should be OK. 🤞

Excellent bargains again today @bubbs. One of your best visits to the Company Shop for a while. 👍

My meals have been fine today. I've had a fry up for breakfast, LOs and pickles for lunch and tonight we had cold meat, chips and salad. BUT I also had Christmas pudding and cream, wine syns and no doubt some chocolate later.

I did a little bit of shopping today as we needed milk. I've just done enough to see us through until Friday then I'll shop again armed with my meal plan to get back on track from Monday. 🤞

Thanks @bubbs.  I should have said I'd be going to Tesco and Morrisons today so I'll hopefully get some in Ts!

Morning all, had best night's sleep last night in the last couple of weeks - think this was because DH wasn't as fidgity as he had been able to take his very strong painkillers.  He's not been able to take them while we on holiday as can't take them with alcohol - no point going AI if you don't drink!

I don't think I said when I posted yesterday that I put on nearly half a stone over the 2 weeks away so a fair bit to shift again and only about 9 weeks until our next holiday!  Will weigh again on Friday, my usual day, and then take it from there.  Hopefully some of it will go by then as suspect some water retention after the flight.

Will be going shopping today and it's going to be an expensive one as the list is much longer than usual as didn't do much shopping in the 2 weeks before we went away.  I've done my January meal plan so will get as much of it as I can today but hopefully enough to get through to next Tuesday, my usual shopping day.  The list doesn't even include pantry items just fruit, veg, dairy and bread.

The one good thing with going away for Christmas is that the bungalow isn't full of "treats" which need to be used up!

    Today's plan:

B - Weetabix, milk - HEB; part HEA
    L - mushroom omelette, salad - P; S
    D - sausage tartiflette, air fried Brussels - S; F; HEA2; 2

HEA1 - milk (breakfast and teas)
    HEA2 - 0.5 Seriously strong spreadable cheese; 0.5 cheddar
    HEB - weetabix
    Swips:  2

    Have a good day everyone.

    Hello all,

Glad you had a good break @joedenise but disappointing about the food. Good that you don't have a bungalow full of treats to come back to!

Well done on the Company Shop goodies @bubbs x

I lost yesterday as well as Monday! Just felt so rough - UTI, migraine, hot one minute, shivering the next, sore shoulders/neck and general fatigue. No appetite but forced myself to eat the Christmas leftover pie that DH had made the night before for my late lunch. That was all I had all day.

Today we have BFF and her DH coming. We are off to our local pub for the evening where there will be a grazing table of no doubt, beige food. DH has said he will cook SW beef stroganoff before we go. I have had a satsuma and a brioche this morning with my meds but nothing else yet today, and don't fancy anything either.

I will be weighing on Monday as usual and will also be sticking to syns as no plans to return to group just yet.

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year xx

Hope you'll feel up to your evening out @Coxy11. It's a good idea to have the stroganoff before you go out to help limit the beige food.

Yes, disappointing that the food on holiday wasn't up to much @joedenise . Was it a new resort/ hotel to you? 🤔

I'm anticipating at least half a stone for all the extra syns I've had since Christmas Eve. I'm leaving it until Friday week to weigh as I may have shifted some by then. I'll weigh after lunch on my way (excuse pun😉) to the supermarket . It won't be so controlled as first thing in the morning at group but I think it's best to go at a fixed time every week.

I've just messaged @beanielou asking her to start a new thread so do look out for it.

Today's food is OK but there will be goodies to eat up as well.

    Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, bacon, eggs (P), tomatoes, mushrooms (S), HEA1 milk
    L- JP (F), cottage cheese (P), salad (S)
D- steak (P), dauphinoise potatoes (F, HEA +syns), green veg, mushrooms, onions (S)
    Syns- Half fat creme fraiche??
