Drum roll…..I might actually have a proper SW day today 🤣🤣. I’m hoping to weigh on Saturday too @bubbs but it will definitely be more than two on for me!It’s dry but very cold but hoping to get out a walk this afternoon with DS1. He’s been offered a new job, still abroad, but undecided on what to do. DS2 is costing trips to the World Cup - definitely a lottery win needed there 🤣
I’ve had my usual fruit and yoghurt for breakfast, about to make a veggie omelette for lunch and it’s either chilli or spaghetti bolognaise from the freezer for dinner.
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Definitely a day of leftovers here. It's the first time there's been just the two of us to feed.
I made a huge casserole yesterday and there's enough for tonight's dinner with some fresh veg on the side . I had bubble and squeak for lunch @bubbs with cold meat and pickles. Breakfast was porridge and fruit.
Although all the meals are SW friendly, I'm sure I'll have chocolates and wine syns as well. There's football tonight (away game) so may watch it at home or go to the pub. 🤔
I can understand why your boys want to go to the world cup @Jellybaby but everything seems such a rip off from the tickets to the accommodation plus flights to the US. ☹️
Good luck with working towards WI on Saturday. 🤞0 -
Jelly, mine would be more than 2 if i wasn't back on it this week, hoping and praying not more than 2 come Saturday.
Well i didn't have the cold pork in the end , i had LM sausage and bacon, mushrooms, beans egg and tom, all free, pitta hexb.
DH said i am struggling eating my tea, i said yes because you ate half a box of bloody biscuits this afternoon 🤣🤣🤣

Can I come back - pretty please?Good to see the same names hereIf anyone cares to remember I got a ban, made a new log on account but then forgot it and so haven't been on here in ages. Just tried to login tonight and my old account was back in use - so Hi guys
Ive maintained target now for a year - but I still go every week. I like the group Im in, we are good friends now, we have a giggle and socialise together.I had a gain leading up to Christmas but weighed in on Saturday and had maintained. This is the danger week for me, Christmas over but the house filled with crap that was given as gifts , we have more Hotel Chocolat than the nearest store I think . Like tonight Im sat here, Im not hungry in the slightest, but I have that voice that says "you only had blah blah all day - go get a mince pie before they go out of date " hard to resistGot the new books on Saturday and will get the new talk this Saturday There's a good few changes so if you haven't scanned anything of late, get into the habbit again, values and weights have changed on a lot of products0 -
Hi all and welcome back @Longwalker 👋
Glad to see everyone making an effort to eat healthier. I however have barely eaten a thing. I woke with a UTI yesterday. Had breakfast of a poached egg on toasted protein bagel then dashed to the pharmacy as they were about to close. Got 3 days of anti-biotics. Took first one then went to bed and that’s where I stayed until 7:30am today except for taking night time AB and some migraine relief. Felt too hot, freezing cold, nauseous - the whole kit and caboodle. Just rubbish.Anyway I’m up and UTI is much improved, head still needs work though. Had a brioche with my tablets and not sure what’s on the menu today as DH did the food shop. Think we said beef stroganoff for tonight.Have a good day everyone

Morning all,
Welcome back @Longwalker, you’ve done brilliantly to have a maintain last week 🥳
Aw Coxy, good the antib’s are working and hope you continue to feel better x
Well I was able to polish my halo until 8ish last night then the munchies (and greed) set in and I consumed my weight in utter rubbish! And boy can I feel it this morning 🙈 I’ve no idea the syns/swips/whatever but I think I’ve managed to finally sicken myself so line is drawn.
I feel so yucky I’ve only had tea and a banana. We’re out with relatives for a late lunch in Glasgow and thankfully it’s to a steakhouse so meal should be relatively fine and low syn. The plan was to get a taxi to the train station but think I’ll drive so no alcohol syns used either.
We have a hard cold frost here with snow due towards the end of the week but for now the sun is out so I think I’ll wrap up and get out for some fresh air.0 -
Morning all, we got back from holiday about 10 last night, seemed a very long day with with travelling. It was still shorter than a normal day but very tiring! As you can imagine a lot of Swips have been consumed - mainly in alcohol! Food wasn't good at all at the hotel so we ended up eating out quite a few times but at least I tried to eat fairly healthily when I could - lots of salads but without any mayo and dressed with white balsamic vinegar.
Definitely need some decent food now particularly veg! Can I ask someone to check the Swips for the ready meal we're having tonight please? It's from the Co-op and details per 100g as follows:
Cals 129
Fat. 6.4g
Carbs. 11g (of which sugars 2.2g)
Fibre. 1.5g
Protein. 6.3g
Pack size is 400g. Wouldn't be surprised if this will be a whole day's allowance (or more!)
Welcome back @Longwalker. You've done amazingly to remain in target for the year and a maintain this week is even more amazing.
Sorry to hear you've got a UTI @Coxy11 but good you got some ABs and it's helping. Hope it goes as quickly as it came.
Well done on being on plan yesterday and hopefully you can stick to plan with eating out. A steakhouse is a great choice for sticking to plan.
Today's plan:
B - porridge made with water - HEB
L - mince beef hash - P; S; F (using some frozen stuff as nothing fresh in at the moment as not been shopping!)
D - RM Chicken Tikka Masala, rice - P; S; F; ?swips
HEA - milk
HEB - oats
Will definitely be back on plan properly tomorrow after I've been shopping!
Have a good day everyone.
