….or “Lose weight in ‘26 with Slimming World and SWIPs!”
We ate at 3pm too @maman after an hour spent in the pub. DH fell asleep at the table whilst DD, DS2 and I washed up! Now eating the cheese mountain. A glass of port went over on the lounge carpet - looked like a murder scene. Good job we hate the carpet!Cross-stitch WIP: Haberdashery Shop Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 27/25 Currently reading Fifty Fifty by Steve Cavanagh1 -
Good morning all - happy Boxing Day, or in our case No Bones Day. Not yet dressed and DD still asleep. Poor DS2 has a 10am-3pm shift today at Morrisons.
I went to bed last night feeling very uncomfortable. No so much over-eating but I was squashed up at the end of the sofa as DS1's dog had the most of it. Feeling a lot better this morning having stretched my diaphragm!
We have a lot of leftovers which will inform our meals for the next few days - both turkey and ham plus salad, potatoes etc. so meals will be a bit ad hoc. So far today I've had a pain au chocolate which isn't a great start but plan on having something more sensible for lunch and dinner.
Hope you all had a good day yesterday and if you're out and about today, hope you have fun.

Afternoon all, I hope you all had a lovely day yesterday.
We have loads of leftovers too @Coxy11 and DS1 has already eaten another full dinner for lunch! I’m about to have a glass of wine as I didn’t have anything alcoholic yesterday due to being taxi for parents and aunt. I will also have some nibbles with it - syns still don’t count 😁

Still got family staying but although DH made breakfast (fry up) I made lunch (LOs) everyone is happy to help themselves tonight to whatever they fancy.
Visitors staying (DD1) leave tomorrow and DD2 coming for lunch on Sunday.
Meals will gradually get back on plan but I'm not going to do SW properly until after New Year.0 -
