@sukeyboo have you tried the Aldi ones? they are inspired by Jo Malone classic fragrances very MSE. If you are in the MSE vein you can perhaps find plenty this time of year in the CS or car boot sales

@2Scratters - haven’t tried the Aldi ones but will look out for them next time I’m in there.
@chanie - I agree about it being a chore but I must try harder as I have reached an age where it is starting to show that I need to moisturise more. The baby lotion might well do the trick as I like ones that absorb quickly too.3 -
I have been going an independent clothes shop near work for a while now and spotted a nice blazer which was £300, it was half price in the sale and the owner sold it to me for £120 (‘just because it’s you’). was very pleased with myself.6

Can I join in?
I have an implant I need to get done. I'm really nervous about it but feeling encouraged by your being brave. How painful is it?No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!4 -
Morning Fabbers,
Small signs of fabbing going on as I needed to decant the dregs of a pot of lip scrub into another which will be easier to use as it has a screw lid instead of a tin that needs working its lid prising from it. It did cause a few instances where nail damage occurredso that tin is now recycled out the house.
I have made a decision (or should I say changed my decision) of a hair product that I was simply just going to throw away. I unfortunately attach a monetary value to items. As I have short hair it is the perfect thing to use up. So on we go with it. It can now make a bad hair day look deliberateit is sat on the almost bare window bottom in the bathroom as a visual prompt to be used.
Have a fab day all

@2Scratters for the most part, i think life is too short to use something you just don’t enjoy, but there is something rewarding about perseverance. hopefully, you’ll use up the remaining hair product quickly so you can move on from it.

@Katiehound thanks for the link. i found out i was pre diabetic last year, but through changes in my diet, im no longer pre-diabetic, but it’s always something i need to keep an eye on.
we went out to a family party and i was complimented on my appearance by family members. i wore a faux leather skirt which i picked up in the sale, a silk top and some patterned Woolford tights i picked up from TK maxx
a few people said i looked glowing. i mix my foundation with bobbi brown face base, which is an amazing face primer and i sometimes wear it by itself and i think this gives a great glowy look. Primark has a dupe of this which is a good MSE alternative, if anyone is interested.8
