The handles look just about right to me. But I usually carry heavy stuff like papers and books. Good luck.8

Well, the chazza fairy seems to have reappeared again! Today’s tripette to Otley resulted in a few nice finds. A pair of white M & S ‘Mom’ jeans, a Lara Ashley purple linen skirt, a navy & white cotton dress and a Debenhams Collection b/n grey shirt, ( for the GC). Everything was 99p each.8

Lots of buying, but not posted recently:
Wierd Fish denim dress £8.Fatface sundress £2
DKNY Sport navy blue with sky blue side tape£7.50 - not sure it’s legit, but I liked it.
BNWT M and S zebra print tankini £3
BNWT (and hygiene strip!) Primark nude body shaper with anti chafe legs £2.50
Various black and various white tops and vests for a couple of quid each.
Bright red jumbo cord denim jacket style Topshop jacket £11
Bright blue Abercrombie and Fitch tote bag £3 even though like @DigForVictory i am a great fan of the Booths tote bags and have several as my bags for life.
@Miró many thanks for the advice about regular Vinted posting: it definitely seems to be working.10 -
@Miró the jungle print bag is gorgeous! And good finds @Potternerd.
I've had a big clear out and have been selling a lot on Vinted. But today I went to the outlet charity shop near me, which was having an end-of-season sale. It's absolute chaos in there - a massive warehouse-style shop with LOADS of stock to wade through. But everything is packed so tightly on the rails it is difficult to see what's what. But undaunted, I persevered and found:
- A pink v-neck T-shirt from Gap in great condition (£2)
- A wrap skirt in navy with a yellow sun and moon print from This Is Unfolded (£3)
- A red pinafore-style dress BNWT - 100% linen. It's from this very odd brand: https://www.joom.com/en/stores/5c74e2876ecda803012685a7?srsltid=AfmBOorfrXID7TI9FAAW6Cr-3wD5D6e7UC0Fpo_oCEC_W3St8UsqN3G4 - but at £3 and with a holiday coming up, it was worth a punt!
A Toast knee-length skirt. Not sure if it will fit, but it was £3 so will sell on if not.7 -
I'm in Brighton and the weather is horrible. It has been raining on and off all day so the beach and the parks were out of the question. We went into so many charity shops instead! There are loads here. My friend mentioned one of the Marlets stores where everything costs £1. I found a black cardigan with a silver skull on the back. I didn't want to have anything heavy to carry home so I got a red scarf from another shop. I did have to buy a pair of boots as my trainers got soaked today.

Snagged a bargain in Barnardo’s Deal yesterday. 4 x Bohemia crystal champagne flutes which perfectly match the two we have left from our wedding list 28 years ago - £1.50 each. Super happy with that 🤗
Agree that Brighton has a great many chazzers. DD studied there so visits to her were always accompanied by a whizz around. Shame about the rain though ☹️Cross-stitch WIP: Haberdashery Shop Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 18/25 Currently reading It Starts With Us by Colleen Hoover7 -
I'm still here 😁 and loving seeing and reading about everyone's purchases.
Most of mine have been 50p - a couple of pound, household items that have disappeared into the house before I've had time to even think about photographing them.
My weakness is Pyrex and some other opalware. I've now set myself a limit, I either have to have a real use for it or it has to be something small and in a pattern I don't already have; apart from casserole lids as I'm trying to collect unchipped ones for the collection of bowls I have.
I had one good, (in the end), deal the other day. I spotted a small thermos flask, (£2), and grabbed it. As I was juggling a few bits, a couple of silicon soap moulds, a silicon loaf mould, (50p each), and I think a couple of other bits, I didn't take the top off. I mean, who would donate a thermos flask without a stopper. 🤔
You've guessed it, no stopper. I was about to return the flask but decided in the end to purchase a new and original stopper which including postage was £8, making the cost of the flask £10.
That might seem a lot but it's what looks like an unused 500ml Thermos Ultimate 500ml
https://thermos.co.uk/products/ultimate-flask
which retails at £30. I have it's big brother, the 1.2L version which keeps the excess of my filter coffee warm for over 24 hours. So, even at £10 I'm chuffed as the 500ml size will be perfect for taking out with me.
I'll try and keep a bit more up to date with postings - RL rather took over for a few months.
Happy hunting everyone. 😁 Dxx

I'm away this week - in North East London / West Essex - and have driven past countless chazzers but not had the time to park for a few minutes to investigate. Brentwood looked particularly interesting - it must be 15 years since I last visited! - but the experience wasn't entirely fruitless. I learned that Porsche drivers are exempt from having to use their indicatorsNo man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.2
