@Rosa_Damascena I think it’s called a punch needle. Not to punch holes with but to create the stitch. Here is a better explanation https://blog.woolwarehouse.co.uk/how-to-guide-punch-needle/4

Yesterday involved a diversion round the A12 at Gallows Corner via Harold Hill. Being a Saturday, the traffic was quieter so a diversion to the local shops (and 5 chazzers) was possible. I didn't buy anything but had an experience that was comedy gold. An older gentleman was walking his dog - which could have been pedigree beautiful but instead was unkempt - past the local Sense and repeating out loud "bargain shop, bargain shop". The overall picture was of someone in cognitive decline so I struck up a conversation with him, asking whether he was going to drop in? I gestured to the shop window (which had dresses on display) and said don't you need anything? This seemingly gentle soul surprised me when he snapped back "Why would I need a f***ing dress? I'm a man".No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.12 -
^^^^^ This!
Absolutely priceless!
Be kind to others and to yourself too.8 -
^Charming!
I've never been to Harold Hill even when I used to live quite near there. I've been to Harold Wood.

Is it too hot to shop for everyone?Yesterday was perfect for car boot shopping here…overcast but warmish. Goodies purchased……..A Roberts clock radio and an Asda electric kettle……perfect for the ‘shed/mancave’ and only £1 each. In as new condition and the seller was practically giving stuff away. Also got a book about William Morris….been trying to verify if a dress I have is actually in a WM pattern…still don’t know but it’s an interesting book. Also from a box of b/n 10p stuff, 2 x replacement handbag handles and some noise cancelling earplugs in a cute little case.11
