Young at heart - The Bluebells
Chosen tonight in memory of someone dearly missed but never forgotten - truly they were young at heart (but they also were a huge fan of the 90s VW golf advert! They dont make adverts like that anymore)
Ooooo 1 Job pay day and included 3 months small travel claims which did infact add up to a not too shabby extra £140. Nil spent today on personal spends although regular T shop delivered and I ordered a sack of potatoes from the nearby farm.
Half term and I am ready for a few days off again. I actually have very little planned with the yoofs so may try and have a really good effort at tackling the garage and rope them into helping. I'm sure eldest yoof will welcome the distraction from revision 😂.
I will tot up the month over the weekend - there's been atlesst 4 school trips paid for in October which all add up but I'm fairly sure that the outgoings haven't exceeded the income. I'd just like to work out exactly how much we have managed to hang on to.
A VIP day tomorrow as I clock up another year - a pint will definitely be in order as I contemplate another year closer to retirement.
