This year really is flying by - October already. The older I get the less I like the dark early mornings and nights - I've decided I don't like driving in the dark either which is not great when your job involves a whole lot of driving 🤣. Dark nights make me want to go to bed at 7pm which amuses the yoofs atleast.
I did manage a NSD yesterday and survived the study clear out - managed to fill the paper recycling bin (and half of next doors with their consent) and the room feels much better. Amazing how much paper I collect even when I've opted for "paperless" where possible, I'm sure I discarded atleast 1 tree. Back to side hustling yesterday too which I have squirreled away as I'm Mindful I still have a deficit on the CCs to cover. I did check the CCs are still safely hidden away in the not to be used wallet - when I've finally cleared them I shall start to chop them up so there's no risk of temptation.
I was all set for a NSD today but there were so many accidents and road closures and diversions on my way home from work tonight I ended up having to stop to use some facilties and ended up buying a coffee. Resisted the Cost@ muffin and coffee afternoon offer though as I didn't need to spend too much nor need the calories.
Right is it bed time yet?????

Note to self - do not pub (although I was propositioned which considering I'm quite old was a revelation in itself and probably worth the money spent in said pub)
It's been a good week for side hustles paying out (£130), not quite sure how the old MH is bearing up overall but we trundle on!

Well it's been all go go go the last few days.
Dh is back from his work trip (hurray!) which is lovely. Eldest yoof is in full work mode buckling down to course work and exam prep for the upcoming but Youngest yoof is just needing a little bit more support organising himself with all the homework that secondary school brings.
Work is still ramping up as is usually does at this time of year and the Christmas Rota was causing a few headaches yesterday for Job 1. There is news on job 1 - next year there will be even more weekends to cover due to several staff being off on mat leave which is lovely news but leaves little wiggle room with the remaining staff. It also means everyone is going to be rostered to do 1 in 5 weekends. That's about what I've picked up extra over the last year (my contractual minimum is 4 per year pro rata) although somehow it feels different when you HAVE to do something rather than choosing to do it 😂 Fickle thy name is Lzzy but it'll hopefully getting that EF going a bit faster.
I ended up having a mini and very minor health procedure yesterday, which went fine but left me feeling surpringly tired last night. I'm on desk duty at work today as I didn't feel I could leave them totally in the lurch. Regular CC payment has gone out for CC3 so transferred the money this morning during my daily bank account check.
May require regular caffeine fixes today 😂

Well today didn't quite go as planned (does it ever!!) and ended up not being wfh as hoped but atleast didn't travel too far. Trying to see how tight I can keep the petrol budget this month as I want to build the car maintenance/insurance pot up for next year and I always top that pot up from any leftover petrol money.
Otherwise a NSD day today, im working all week this week and side hustling again tomorrow night so should try to get some sleep but got very into a new murder mystery I wanted to watch this evening on Ch5.
Audible keep sending me offers which I have so far resisted although the 99p per month for 3 months is very tempting ....... still need to investigate the app recommended a few days ago first though as we all like things that are free!!!

*insert nag about not resting up adequately, and instead feeling that you have to help others here*
I always forget about borrowbox, I signed up months ago. Audible is just too easy when the app is on my phone and I probably use it daily.
What was the programme? I'm house sitting so don't have access to my usual netflix and YouTube, so looking for things to watch in the evening.

As @FootyFanDan just said "we live for the chaos" 😂
It was Murder before Evensong - the Rev Richard Cole adaptation on ch 5. Just my cup of tea programme wise 😂
Worked today and gigged tonight - hoping any proceeds earnings wise can go towards Christmas Pot although I am tired now

Still counting - Volbeat
warning - grumpy Lzzy tonight
Good grief I'm feeling very short and bad tempered this evening 😂 I'm in a bit of pain tonight and coupled with other things (if you are a woman of a certain age you will understand completely my extreme lack of tolerance and patience) I'm very grumpy and I chose tonight's musical reference purely for the opening line of the song.
Anyway moving on. All CC payments for this month made now which is good. Only money spent today was on fuel (which saves me a trip tomorrow) and a payment for one of youngest yoofs activities. Online grocery shop sorted for tomorrow although I'm feeling very uninspired this week when thinking about next week's menu.
Aiming for an early night so I don't upset anyone with my sharp tongue. Still not allowed to do any exercise either which isn't helping!!
