Great debt busting and even better mindset shift!  Your changes will be sustainable whatever happens this week.

i saw the Strawbs a few years ago - their penultimate performance ever.  Really great fun.  Part of the Union and Lay Down were fabulous. Great guitaring.

I feel a total mix of elation, excitement but also fear, failure and a little bit cheated whilst also being utterly terrified. Feels like I've totally sold out.

Prog Rock really isn't my thing but I love the Strawbs! Sometimes I wish I could have seen all these random bands live!

Thanks @jwil I never used to suffer but in the last few years it has popped up like a rather unwelcome visitor.

However Action Defeats Anxiety and it's been All Action here the last few days  Tonight DH and I have sat down together and had a really good budget and standing order reshuffle,  bank account rearranging and Goal Planning in light of recent postive money events. I am terribly scared and worried that we may slip back into old habits and one of the things we agreed is keeping to a tight and carefully monitored budget. I think I'd also like to keep this diary going too as I need to be accountable to myself as much as possible.

Things I have done also include clearing that £200 0% balance that was ending, requesting a loan closure quote and updating my signature 😆

Hasn't quite been a no spend day as youngest yoof has decided that long sleeved shirts are too hot for school and needed some more short sleeved ones - luckily the long sleeved ones had been an As New hand me down so hadnt cost anything and the clothing pot covered the new shirts. It seems excessive but it just takes the stress out of the working week if I know the kids have a shirt allocated for each day.

    Hope everyone is well xx

You really left that 5.93 though? Couldn't find that down the sides of the sofa? In some old pockets? On pavements around your area?
Well done all your recent actions, especially channelling the anxiety into something productive!

Haha I did think that as I typed it out 🤣 I will hopefully fix that today as I want to clear my 13% interest paying loan.
