Green_hopeful I LOVE that bedside lamp. Do you know where you got it please?Decluttered another 2 meals from the freezer.
Been raining all day, actually just stopped so I could get the wheelybin out, couldn’t put the cardboard out as it’s too windy and I don’t want to spend time tomorrow having to pick it all up. Will try to catch the binmen tomorrow.
Did get rid of lots of normal rubbish today.
Sold 1 more item on Vinted and secured myself a real bargain. I genuinely needed a coat I could wear in the rain as I only have a very cheap duffle type of coat. Anyway, just happened that a listing for a raincoat popped up and it’s perfect. Right size, a colour I love and seller says worn only a couple of times. No damage, no marks, it’s clean and cost me- including postage to home…….£5.69
I do have to go through my wardrobe again as I definitely have two 2-piece sets that are too big so need to go.Also need to get rid of some more long sleeve tops as I know I won’t ever wear them.
Did all the washing today. 2 pieces will need ironing tomorrow when dry.
Hope everyone is doing okay. Have a good night all, sweet dreams xxSaving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

We were planning on putting the tree up today. The tree is up but as the lights, tree skirt and the sexagenarian fairy are AWOL. As it’s been piddling it down all day it was not the time to rearrange the shed to find the missing crate. Which is definitely in the shed.✒️ Declutter 2025 🏅👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Good evening chums, feeling a bit better every day. Had a slow pottering day today, mananged to find some place mats with bees on for DD for one of her Christmas presents, good price to at Dunelm I'll pick them up tomorrow I got 10% discount as wellso when I go to Newport for Cribbage tomorrow after lunch I'll nip to Dunelms first and pick up my click and collect.
She had a nice set before we moved but had them ruined in a flood at her house there was a cludburst and the whole of her downstairs rooms were under a foot of water as the drains over flowed. Insurance did pay up but it took awhile as everything was ruined and her dining room suite she had to throw out, along with lots of other things cushions and virtually everything that was on the floor carpets even her hoover got binned and the insurance company paid for a large skip. She did love her place mats though so I was pleased to find some with bees on
She's very good with all wildlife and bees especially, if they fly into our conservatory in the summer and cant find their way out she will pick them up gently and set them free. She says all creatures have a right to life no matter how small.
After dinner tonight I actually picked up my knitting needles and started back knitting, so I must be feeling better
goodness
Only two more things to pick up tomorrow and all the presents are wrapped and packed thank goodness.
I'm hoping the persistant rain will ease a bit tomorrow as my joints aren't good in the wet weather.
Onwards and upwards chums

Can now see some of the floor in the spare room as some of the Christmas presents have started to be distributed.
That room is my target for 2026. It has to be cleared a lot more. The crafting shed is being insulated next week so that will take a lot of the stuff out of the room once the furniture is in there.September 2017 Debt = £25330

Madam Mim, it amuses me to keep track of the spends in the new house. Not that I am a skinflint but I prefer the look and quality of older things. Plus I enjoy repurposing and up cycling. I also love a list and a task to aim for.
Fizz, you are doing a fabulous job. Looking after your mental health is the priority. You have got it just right.x
Lovely room Green hopeful. That fabric is so very effective.
The kitchen looks amazing, well lets say tidy and clean. Mr V put a shift in with me to boss it. The dining room however is even worse than ever. I have ignored the stuff on the table and got out all the Christmas decorations. I have spent the evening knitting and watching telly and having a blast of decorating when the ads came on. Not finished at all, I have been trying out stuff in different places to see where I like it best. I have a lot of decorations but not enough baubles for the new big tree. I will have to actually buy some! from a shop!
For the chazzer tomorrow, a door curtain. Coming in, a runner and a rug for the hall and some curtains for the dining room. All FB purchases. We are also being gifted some curtain poles.
The bed in the loft can bloomin well stop there for the time being. Grrrrr.

- Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
- Concerted effort to sort out sleep patterns - Realistic targets: bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m
- Continue dealing with mail & email on a daily basis
- Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
- Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
- Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Sunday continued: dinner was roast pork with crackling, roast potatoes & carrots, cabbage, Yorkshire puddings & hm gravy. Apart from the crackling which was awful & thrown away, the rest of the dinner was delicious 😋 DH started a soup base. Wudupa

Cheerleading starts from midday Friday:
Liverpool_Anne, what a busy Thursday & you got such a lot done 👏 A shame about the filling falling out, hopefully the dentist will make a better job of it this time around 🤞Sounds like your Christmas is all sorted 😊 I think I would probably do the same & opt out of a 2nd visit 😉 This “New neighbour over the road is starting be leave notes on people's cars that have parked outside her house. Honestly the parking is dire in our road but as nobody owns the road people can park where ever they want. I will be watching with amusement 😂.” is such a shame but sadly seems to occur everywhere 😞 Lovely cheerleading as usual 😊
Lovely post diminua 😊
canvascamper, I only buy presents for 2 people - DH & DSis but it is always a struggle ☹️ as they both buy what they want throughout the year. Well done on decluttering photos - every little helps 👏
TC77, sorry to hear that the work restructuring is giving you sleepless nights 😔
Nice to see you back CRANKY40 👋 Sorry to hear about the shambles that has occurred at your DS’s university 😞 Hopefully his new personal tutor will help to get your DS on track to where he should be 🙏 Excellent decluttering in November especially since you were so busy helping DS 👏 Don’t forget to count the ‘bits’ that your DS is providing for your nephews toy 😉 Excellent decluttering of items at Knit and Natter 👏 Thank you for the compliment re my knitting 😊
Lovely cheerleading vulpix 😊 More excellent work making your house into a home 👏 At the rate you are going you will be practically finished by Christmas 😉 Great purchases & good luck with completing your task list for the day 🍀
So much for catching up with the cheerleading 😬 Never mind I will catch up eventually 🤞 Sleep tight 😴

Hi all, quick post as we are heading out for lunch and have over an hour's drive to get there 😁. Over the past couple of days 3 more annoying pens binned 2 LDFPA, 2 t shirts to the cs bag, bottle of perfume used up, bottle and box into the recycling. OH has bought a new coat and when trying to hang it up on the coat rack rather than the newel post at the bottom of the stairs 🙄 I noticed the rack was quite full so had a sort out. OH had 18 tops hung up there. When I do the washing I hang shirts on coat hangers to dry then they are put on the coat rack to be taken upstairs. I took them upstairs for OH to put in the wardrobe 😁 and there is now pleanty of space to hang coats. OH did comment that there were a lot.
Met some friends for brunch yesterday and I discovered one of them is the organiser for "home" stuff for her church for their project to help homeless people setting up. She will take any bedding, odd cups and plates, glasses, cutlery etc as well as the suitcase 😁. This has made me so happy as I now know what to do with quite a few things. Hopefully I can get some stuff out to her this week.
@Fizz2015 sometimes Mums take liberties, they forget what it was like to have children around, plus you are really busy and there are only so many hours in the day. I remember my Mum complaining because I didn't have any nets and she didn't like it, so I got nets and put them up then she complained that I hadn't cleaned the Windows 😂. She lived up the road and I spent hours every week caring for her garden, decorating for her and doing the heavy cleaning while working full time 😂. Sometimes you just can't win 😂. Spend your time doing nice things with your family
Right got to get weaving
Hugs to everyone who would like one

I am so relieved to have found a home for the left over Christmas tree and foliage.
I asked DD's scouts group if they would like it for a wreath making activity tomorrow night and she was already thinking of doing it and on the hunt today for resources. Problem solved for both of us!
That will also mean another two gifts leaving the house tomorrow and one tonight. Progress is being slowed because of Christmas but at least a lot of the excess things I have are going to good use.
They have asked me to stay and teach them to make the wreaths as well. Happy to help where I can.

I decluttered the dog to the kennel and I donated them some pet blankets that my dog seemed to go off for no apparent reason!😂Once the building work is done I need to get my windows deep cleaned. I am tempted to get a cleaner in to deep cleaned the house before Christmas too.2025 GOALS
