I am happy to declare a kitchen in my totals and I am awarding myself a 🥇 for actually coping with the kitchen being gutted as I hate things like this with a passion and don’t do very well with everything being topsy turvy. I find it very stressful. Kitchen not quite finished. Just being decorated but I’m slowly putting things back.
i have loads of storage but very empty cupboards after decluttering prior to the kitchen coming out and doing more as items go back into the kitchen.

The charity are really pleased with the furniture from my step sons house. Its a church based charity which buys houses and furnishes them for homeless people. The current house is being done up for three people to share. My step son donated three wardrobes, two ikea book cases, a sofa and arm chair, and two coffee tables. He didn’t need them and I am pleased they are going to get good use. The charity have 16 houses that they have bought to home people. I have asked if they need anything else because we might have something else that would be useful. We have helped a few young people with first homes because we have a lot of furniture and can usually spare some. Makes me smile when they come round to see if there is anything they like.11

Morning all.
Another 34 ''hot chocs and fuzzy socks'' sets out yesterday. I'm so surprised at how well they've sold but then it's an inexpensive stocking filler (£3 per set) More things coming in temporarily for the 'For your Mistle-toes' gift sets, but will be gone in the next couple of weeks.
My youngest DD is running the London half marathon next year for Anthony Nolan so £1 from each sale is going to her fundraising target which helps as a selling point I think.

Helloooooo! Busy busy week so much so I well and truly over did it and had to rest Thursday and Friday. New bedroom furniture came yesterday and we have been busy getting rid of all the old stuff, cleaning and sorting out. Mrs SD I did not count everything but considering we filled several carrier bags and hubby did his bedside tables I think I can hand on heart say I have well and truly reached my target!Rogan helped in his own way dismantling cardboard everywhere.Still have a lot to do but will do it slowly and not rush or I’ll make myself ill.

New furniture! I have put things I need to hand when poorly in the bedside tables. I was fretting about sock space until hubby said I could get rid of some….

New bed will be put together tomorrow and I will have space underneath it for the spare duvet, wrapping paper and Christmas presents. Very little will go under there but I needed somewhere to put certain things.
much of my wardrobe will be sorted and put in the new chest of drawers and things I’m keeping from the bookcases will be trimmed right down and put in there. 😋⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering
