I am happy to declare a kitchen in my totals and I am awarding myself a 🥇 for actually coping with the kitchen being gutted as I hate things like this with a passion and don’t do very well with everything being topsy turvy. I find it very stressful. Kitchen not quite finished. Just being decorated but I’m slowly putting things back.
i have loads of storage but very empty cupboards after decluttering prior to the kitchen coming out and doing more as items go back into the kitchen.

The charity are really pleased with the furniture from my step sons house. Its a church based charity which buys houses and furnishes them for homeless people. The current house is being done up for three people to share. My step son donated three wardrobes, two ikea book cases, a sofa and arm chair, and two coffee tables. He didn’t need them and I am pleased they are going to get good use. The charity have 16 houses that they have bought to home people. I have asked if they need anything else because we might have something else that would be useful. We have helped a few young people with first homes because we have a lot of furniture and can usually spare some. Makes me smile when they come round to see if there is anything they like.15

Morning all.
Another 34 ''hot chocs and fuzzy socks'' sets out yesterday. I'm so surprised at how well they've sold but then it's an inexpensive stocking filler (£3 per set) More things coming in temporarily for the 'For your Mistle-toes' gift sets, but will be gone in the next couple of weeks.
My youngest DD is running the London half marathon next year for Anthony Nolan so £1 from each sale is going to her fundraising target which helps as a selling point I think.

Helloooooo! Busy busy week so much so I well and truly over did it and had to rest Thursday and Friday. New bedroom furniture came yesterday and we have been busy getting rid of all the old stuff, cleaning and sorting out. Mrs SD I did not count everything but considering we filled several carrier bags and hubby did his bedside tables I think I can hand on heart say I have well and truly reached my target!Rogan helped in his own way dismantling cardboard everywhere.Still have a lot to do but will do it slowly and not rush or I’ll make myself ill.

New bed will be put together tomorrow and I will have space underneath it for the spare duvet, wrapping paper and Christmas presents. Very little will go under there but I needed somewhere to put certain things.
much of my wardrobe will be sorted and put in the new chest of drawers and things I’m keeping from the bookcases will be trimmed right down and put in there. 😋⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering

Saturday rained on & off all day with a high of 8°C (felt 5° colder) & a low of 2°C Both my new passport & old passport were delivered - separate envelopes. The new passport is ‘supposed’ to be a very dark blue known as ‘black’ by any other name 😉 DH received a call that the motorbike was ready to be picked up. Public transport to garage where he paid the bill (£2,000+) because as well as the new alternator the bike needed a new silencer (which DH had supplied but needed fitting), 2 new tyres + oil change & other bits. Just as he set off from the garage the heavens opened & steady heavy rain meant that by the time he got home he looked like a drowned rat 😢 soaked through to his undies. Another lazy day for me 😔 Finished the Sudoku book, finished the scarf which is almost 4’ long.

Ordered in - chinese 🤤 Wudupa

Decluttered 4 big mugs as they have stained really badly and will not come clean plus I never liked them.Decluttered some lovely fresh veggies from the fridge to accompany the enormous chicken we had for dinner. Tons left for freezer, where chicken came out of.
Must have gone from the kitchen to our black wheely bin in the yard at least 7 times today. Green wheely bin is now out for dustybinmen collection tomorrow.
Did all the washing and 99% of the drying, just a few bits on the airer. Even did all the ironing, including a shirt of mine which wasn’t dry but that helped get the creases out. Put back on the airer to finish off.All in all it’s been a productive day.Hope everyone has enjoyed the weekend, here’s to a good week. Have a great evening, sleep tight xxSaving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal
