Thank you for the medal @mrs_salad_dodger.

Yesterday I went singing and didn't do much else. Sooo tired after our trip away. Today I intend having a good old tidy in the kitchen and dining room. I thought that if I wrote it down here this morningit would really make me get on with it! 🤣

Thanks guys. Daisy - that is exactly what I'm going to do as I thought about what things we won't need now as we will only be down to one animal in the house, my dog. I used to have 8 rescue pets so this will be quite strange to have the house so quiet. I think I will want to adopt more animals (or at least one) in the future but not at the moment.

I did call up my dog's kennel (which is also a rescue centre) and asked them if they wanted all the spare pet beds we have. I washed the pet beds in the summer so they could dry outside so they can pick them up when they collect my dog next. I looked around and there is another pet bed so I'm washing that now. They said they would take them and I also said I had my cat's cat food and they said a local cat rescue charity would want any spare food. I just bagged it all up ready for them to collect.

@Wednesday2000 so sorry to hear about your cat, so difficult. How wonderful that you've cared for so many rescue animals and given them a loving home x
