@Brie - Our library has ukelele classes and loans the ukeleles out free. Big class too.
Even her visiting nurse and physical therapist are getting after Di to clean up some of the mess. It doesn't seem to make a dent. Maybe I can make some inroads with the help of roommate J to get a couple of pieces of furniture out from underneath it all and that will help a bit. I understand though as at the moment I can barely clean up my room. Need to see the surgeon soon to see what he says about my back. Maybe there are some steps I cam take to get moving again without the surgery. Knowing my roommates, if I do go in the hospital for surgery and am there for more than one day, I will probably have to have a maid service come in and clean up.
I'd hire the maid service before then to clean up, but not sure I can afford it twice.

@Brie thank you for explaining!!
@weenancyinAmerica I hope you can get moving again and take care of yourself as you're always doing so much for others.
2 items returned as not right (back.pack) and book to the library I won't read.16 -
- Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
- Concerted effort to sort out sleep patterns - Realistic targets: bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m
- Continue dealing with mail & email on a daily basis
- Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
- Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
- Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Friday continued: watched Countdown then spent the rest of the afternoon & early evening doing puzzles. Now cooking dinner - quiche & chips for DSis, oven baked salmon fillets, boiled new potatoes & carrots for DH & me. Our salmon was a lot tastier this time as I put a small amount of lazy chillies on each fillet😋 Wudupa.

suzeesu2000, great work cleaning the sides of the cooker 👏 especially as you probably feeling sub-par due to the stinking cold ☹️ I hope you managed to sleep well 😴
Green_hopeful, sounds like a lovely evening 😊
TC77, your house might look as if it has been ransacked but hopefully this means that you can spot things easily as you are tidying & can make quick decisions as to whether or not the item should be put away or decluttered out of your home 🤞Some good decluttering especially re the confidential papers 👏 Fingers crossed the sofa has been picked up 🤞
Floss, rather than ‘creeping in’ I think you are so relaxed after a week in the sun that you sauntered in ☺️ Excellent decluttering prior to your holiday 👏 & good luck with your listings 🍀 Yummy, I am now craving a toasted teacake 🤤
Great decluttering vulpix 👏 Sorry to hear about the funeral 😞 Hopefully you will be able to find suitable clothes without too much difficulty 🤞 I am sending cwtches for your DiL & the new arrival 🤗
Lovely post Moorviews 🥹
Liverpool_Anne, pleased to see you back 👋 I agree with you that it doesn’t seem right that your DSis was sent home without the ability to go up & down the stairs 😞 Although having said that I do think she will get better more quickly by being at home with less chance of ‘catching’ anything 😉 Nothing wrong with a couple of ‘lazy days’ especially as you are always so busy 😊 Some great decluttering 👏 & I especially liked This “Sorted through my birthday gifts and put them away, 2 into the cs bag as I will not use them. I used to keep everything I received as a gift but I have realised that if my initial reaction is nope don't like it, I will never use it so no point keeping it in case I change my mind, I won't 😂” 👏 Another surgery that ignores specific instructions, why am I not surprised 😞 Hopefully you will get your referral re your blood test results without having to get another test 🙏 Great new that the builder will be starting work soon 😊 so good luck clearing out the under-stairs cupboard & any other areas that need clearing 🍀 Fingers crossed that not too much needs to go in the loft 🤞
Soontobeoap, you certainly managed to get “the look” 😊 Your fireplace is wonderful 🤩 Excellent decluttering 👏
Thanks for the information re exchanging old bank notes short_bird 👏
Willowtree222, yippee to the ‘huge piece of glass’ being decluttered 👏🥳 It might not have taken up much space but it could have been an accident waiting to happen 😨
Brie, sounds like you are a very accomplished musician 😊 Have you thought of taking it up again or have you moved on to other musical instruments? Shame I fell behind with the cheerleading as I would have asked if there was any chance of a photo of your artwork before you posted it 😕
daisy_1571, good luck with the recorder playing 🍀
suzeesu2000, that was no gentleman that was a nincompoop 😉 Pleased to hear that you managed to get through to him & hopefully the replacement printer will work properly 🤞
Just seen the time so I am off to bed. Sleep tight everyone 😴

Please can someone help me stage an intervention with my OH and his amazon obsession? He needs to remember that if you buy to replace, you get rid of the original!!17

I love salmon with a bit of chilli on them. Sounds delicious, Mrs SD.
The glass was from the conservatory roof so thick and reinforced. When I came to bring it out, I put it down but because it was heavy was a little too clumsy with it and one side just started to shatter. It didn't break up thankfully, but was dangerous.
Think I have decluttered my sanity this week dealing with a big frog, but hopefully it is done now! Final stretch.
Hugs to everyone that needs it.September 2017 Debt = £25330

Morning all!
Day off today, OH has had to go to work for a few hours which is a rarity on a Saturday so that means I can declutter stuff without him knowing when his usual answers are "we might need that" even though its been sat in thr junk draw for 3 years 😂I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe boards and spending & discounts boards. School recorders were an introduction to music for me and 2 of my kids. DD1 went on to play flute because of it and played at our wedding with her flute ensemble. ( For the beauty of the earth john rutter.) School ukelele introduced DD2 to playing the guitar. Does anyone remember " little fly" on the recorder?

Soft plastics recycled.
Soon to be posted, a bin bag of wooly blankets en route to Ukraine I think.
Baby and Mum are doing better. Baby still in scubu.

Many weeds and grass decluttered from
the bed under the hedge. The feathered fiends (sparrows) aka ‘the hedge commanders’ have been most generous in their seed recycling and fertiliser deposits. We’re taking recycle, reuse, repurpose to a whole new level by replanting the grass clumps in the bald spots in the back garden!Whilst gardening we found out that one of our salvia ‘hot lips’ has also produced 3 new plants so they’ve been replanted elsewhere in the garden in hops that they take.Handily the bin men (lovely lad with a sweet smile) turned up mid garden session and took away half a bin of garden waste. The bin is now full again!✒️ Declutter 2025 🏅👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

6 candles decluttered, one spud masher and one knife.
