Got the dark laundry out on the lines and all beautifully dry, folded and all put away. I really am sticking to my mantra: Don’t put it down, put it away.Decluttered a pizza from the freezer for dinner, wasn’t nice.Got all my paperwork together and sorted all into like with like. Got a pile of torn up (no ID on) bits of paper for recycling. Got another pile with ID on for shredder first then recycling. Friday I will scan all and put in their files on laptop and back up to external HD. Then I can shred what I really don’t need to keep and file the absolutely necessary stuff.DH been under the weather all day, hoping it’s just this 24 hour cold type bug that’s doing the rounds. DH is immunosuppressed so we have to be cautious.I looked across from my back yard today and saw a tree, no leaves on it but a gazillions bright red berries. Was really pretty.

I sorted my cutlery drawer whilst cooking dinner tonight I'm sure everyone keeps the radiator and gas metre box keys in theirs? I've removed everything which shouldn't be there and thrown away or put in their correct home. I think my teaspoons have been breeding!! The other drawers can wait until Sunday.
I decluttered some apples and blackberries into stewed fruit both were gifts, I refrained from adding a crumble topping i need to get back to decluttering me!Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin15 -

@suzeesu2000 i had to get rid of a tonne of paperwork for my in laws. Our little shredder wasn’t going to be happy. I cut the personal details out and threw the big piece of paper in the recycling bin. It worked much quicker than shredding and did the job. Your shredder might be fab but it might make it quicker?13

@Brambling you are lucky to have breeding teaspoons. Mine are always disappearing!!!!
Managed to get straight line with the indigo paint by putting masking tape on.much more lightly. Painting up to it without going over it much and whipping it off between each coat. A bit of a faff but it worked.🎉. Got the chimney breast done yesterday as well. We have both been so focused on getting this room done that there has been no time for anything else.I absolutely love the colour which is just as well.🤣. Can't wait to declutter the house of all things decorating as well as get it back up together. No housework has been done here for weeks! Every room is cluttered with stuff that hasn't been put away properly or goes in living room cupboards normally. Washing got done yesterday but I forgot to put it out. DH asks What's for dinner and I haven't got a clue! I used to think I was disorganized but compared to this I am amazing.🤣

Forgot to post this yesterday 😞
Thursday continued: I left home at 10:20, dropped off test & was back indoors by 10:55 🙂 Whole household was up & the smell of bacon wafted from the kitchen as I opened the front door 🤤 as DSis had made T a bacon sandwich. After two hours of prevarication about going into Lewisham, DSis & T finally decided that DSis would be driving T straight back to his aunt’s house 😂 They left at 13:30 with DSis worrying about driving without my DH - her first time driving without him sat in the passenger seat 😥 It has been lovely seeing T although I had forgotten how tiring it is listening to the back & forth between him & my DSis 😪 DH went out for a walk at 14:00. I have loaded the newly cleaned wm with a pair of DH’s motorcycling trousers as he wants them clean before taking them to a specialist repair shop…… Now on whirligig. DH got back at 15:00. I have been dealing with my mail & sorting finances as all today’s mail was for me. DSis texted at 16:10 to say they had arrived. She set off for home at 19:15 & some time later texted DH to say the satnav was having a tizzy & had put her on the M4 to the M4 to drive right through London 😥 Upshot was that DH instructed her to pull in at Heston Services & he would meet her there on the motorbike & she could follow him home. DH left 20:45 & DSis phoned at 21:55 to say that he had just arrived. They finally got back at 23:17. To add to DSis’s Satnav woes she really doesn’t like driving in the dark 😞 After a couple of cups of tea she was almost recovered but will not be driving without DH for the foreseeable future 😔 I did the washing up but left to dry overnight.

4 picture frames adopted by a member of our art group yesterday so that's all the big ones out of my car now.
I have a plan for another large frame. I did some gelli printing with ginko leaves and love the way the prints turned out and so would like to arrange the various prints together in the one frame. I've also decided that 3 frames I used recently don't really appeal to me so I'll take the pictures out (which aren't worth hanging in any case) and take those to the next meeting to see if someone else would like them. I've also pledged to myself that I will go through the big bag of frame bits and see what I can cobble together as that will make them more desirable to someone either in the art group or if they get passed to a charity shop. And then I'll bin the bits that can't be used.
Well that at least is the plan.
I've also rethought about where things might hang in various rooms to give me more scope to get things up off the floor. Once that's done I can decide which other frames will never be needed and they can go as well. fyi - I probably have about 30 frames currently not in use so there's a lot to be sorted. Brambling, our cutlery drawer contains all sorts not even remotely cutlery related. The bane of Mr V's life, but where do you keep those cut flower food sachets, paracetamol, radiator key, elastic bands, etc.
Soontobeoap, decorating makes the whole rest of the house a complete tip, fact.
Mrs SD, good effort by your sister. I don't think I would enjoy driving through London. Well done Mr SD, a knight in shining armour turning up on his trusty steed to rescue her.
Well done Brie on rationalising your frames. I will have to be ruthless once I move, I have so many.
So to cut a very long story short, we are not moving next Tuesday. The septic tank has to be inspected and certificated next Thursday, then the mortgage company will reassess. No future date on the horizon. Que sera sera. No point in pulling out of the chain now, it has been over 4 months. I hope all the other people keep their nerve.
Mr V has put his foot through the sheet on the bed. I darn't wash it now, we will just have to wallow till we move. I have no clue which box contains other sheets.
I will unpack the bathroom scales. Stress eating is making my trousers tight! It has to stop. We also will have to shiver in the wrong seasons clothes. I refuse to unpack. We expected we would move a month ago.
So I need to give my wrist a rest from crochet so we are off out to look for some fabric to cover the hall bench that I have been given. There is also more work to do on the wooden chest. Oh need to also buy black spray paint. The knobs on the pine drawers that Mr V has renovated have been " decorated" by a child with a black felt pen. It doesn't sand out so they can just be black. I would prefer to keep the original knobs than buy new. It just feels better to me.
Thank you everyone for posting and our lovely little community. Vx:15
