Sold a book on eBay. It was listed for £3.49. The offer was £2. Ebay say I will get £1.80. So I am claiming a book and a second hand padded envelope.Although my procrastination yesterday was disappointing i have actually enjoyed having a clear bedside cabinet and top drawer. The drawer now only has lipsil and an interdental toothpick thing. The cabinet only has the things that should be there, lamp, coaster and an extension for my charger. Oh and a flipping water bowl for our elderly cat, the other cats pounce on her if she gets up to have a drink so its the safest place, although she does insist on walking over my head to get there.I have been doing more puttying. I get bored easily but I think i did three hours. I have covered some of it with plastic to try to protect it from the rain. Its only a thin bead and its tube putty so it might be ok.I have a lovely lady coming to do my nails tomorrow. She is going to be very disappointed when she sees them. She is doing an IBX treatment that strengthens them. At least it’s not nail varnish because that wouldn’t last.9

For those who wanted an update on the room of doom. This is currently what it looks like! Still clean to a degree, just need to take out the black bag if there's room in my bin as bin collection is another 3 weeks away!!

After managing to start decluttering again, I've brought in 1 pair joggers, 3 sweatshirts, 10 t-shirts and have bought/ordered 2 pairs of jeggings.
I also managed to get a second hand coat in good condition.
I should hopefully be okay for clothes for the the time being, unless I either drastically loose weight suddenly (although I hope to lose weight, but am struggling to), or I do my usual and end up with greasy marks on my clothes again.Decluttering campaign 2023

Thank you @Moorviews
@Mrs_Salad_Dodger It was a B&D but the replacement is a B05ch. The 25 years was great but the saws were all brand specific and therefore expensive so I’ve gone for a brand that’s got a universal fitting. 🤞🤞 that it works out.
If it’s not one thing, it’s another here. After the good news that Jewel’s thyroid reading were stable and I didn’t need another vet visit for 6 months I noticed that at least one of her claws has grown round into her pad. One of the disadvantages of living on your own is that you don’t have enough hands to comfortably restrain an animal while having hands free to to gently examine and hold a light etc., especially if the animal is in discomfort and not keen. Add to that, Gino attacking Jewel because she was trying to bite me, .... impossible! To be fair on Gino, he’s attacked me when Jewel has been very vocally complaining about me trying to remove matts from her fur.
Decluttering?? Last year’s slippers where the soles have gone around the edge are out and the new ones in use. Some of the old, large cardboard boxes have been laid down as the start of the pathways between the raised beds in the garden and more boxes have been unpacked. Apart from that, I can’t think of much but what I know is happening is that I’ve got much better at keeping on top of the day-to-day detritus and getting the various bags out for collection each week. Just doing that is making a noticeable difference.
I’ve made a list of jobs for the winter months – mainly preparation as I find I need good daylight when painting to not leave streaks or gaps, and lots of sorting and filing along with going back through the filing to see what’s important and what can go. The sorting and filing includes my French banking, French tax and the MSA and Auto Entrepreneur paperwork; something that I’m really not looking forward to
To stop me decluttering too much time, I’m setting myself a time limit as to how much of the day I will allow myself on my usual winter occupation of family history. It’s been 3 years since I was last on this, due to the move etc.. I had started the debate about when to buy the 6 months of worldwide I need as 1) it’s expensive, 2) I have other things to do and 3) trying to figure out whether there would be a Black Friday offer that would soften the blow of the price for time I wouldn’t be able to use it because of decorating and the garden.
MSE came to my aid and there was a link that gave me a year for the same price as the current 6 months, and I got A1rtime bonus as well against my phone bill. Win win.
Well, I was going to post this before lunch but somehow RL took over. I realised that I could get the last signatures on my Lasting Power of Attorney forms so I raced over to DS1’s and he and DiL1 signed where necessary and I posted the forms at my local PO on my way home.
So a mega frog is out of the house! 😁😁
She who must not be named, (Alexa), has informed me this evening that nearly 1.5 inches of rain is due to fall here tomorrow!!! I only hope it’s mainly after I’ve done the vet run.
Love to you all. Dxx

Thanks for the medals Mrs SD. I'm luckily that my sister likes decluttering other peoples homes! And my friend loves it although you do get cross examine sometimes when you say you want to keep something and she doesn't see why. She admits to no emotional attachment to things, I'm sure if her husband sat still for too long he would be tidied away. I'm not letting her loose on my crafting stuff in the small bedroom as I don't think it would be a good idea, although I would probably get a bed in there if I did.
I picked up a storage box today to corral some of my art supplies in place to help organise my cupboard in the above bedroom

Very happy bunny today, it has been a productive day.
A big line of washing dried in the nice weather and finally did a tip run
384)-392) items to the recycling centre-things like broken bits from the kitchen, broken kettle, old scales in no fit state to give to the CS, broken chair from my table set that couldn’t be fixed.393)-394) 2 items returned to their rightful owner
395) very old cardboard cat scratcher into recycling.MrsSD many thanks for my gold star

Dun elm Bags of Joy has started, I cannot wait to get some labels on Friday. Not planning on beating my record of 71 bags but if I can do 50 I will be very happy.Decluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Pulled the bed out to hoover. Epic, it is so heavy, we had to take the mattress off to be able to shift it. found a pen and another line of holes from the previous headboard which was one of those Indian folding screens. This wall is the only wall in the house with original plaster. On removing a rawl plug with a bottle opener a big load of plaster dropped off *********** I filled half before I went out and have done the rest tonight. It will take a while to dry.
I am off out for the day tomorrow with my friend who recently lost her husband. It's a bus trip of ladies. Not my usual habitat but she was kind enough to ask me. The war museum and then a shopping mall. I am sure there will be some positives. Not things I would choose to do normally.
Had a message from our solicitor. All the upper chain good to go. There is now an issue with our buyers buyer and having enough time between exchange and completion, This is a mortgage requirement I believe. My Estate Agent is on the case. They have a week to sort themselves out.
A lady removal person is coming tomorrow to price up the move. Mr V is then going to Sheffield with another car full of garden pots.
I am looking forward to Thursday. My list of jobs is calling me.
