Did the work drop off. I had forgotten how much rubbish I had at work though. Only a handful of items came home. All will find a home tomorrow.
Bag of books donated to a colleague.
DD returns to school on Thursday so a lot more decluttering of my things. She enjoys going through them and wanting to keep them, so it is easier when she isn't here.
September 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x8 -
321)-323) items x 3 passed to a friend today
324) old craft set-binned
325)-328) items x 4 for rag recycling
329)- 338) items x 10 sold on V
339) lots of cardboard recycling, a friend took some to the tip for me
340) big bag of soft plastics recycled.
341)-343) ood vets meds back to the vets for disposalHave been on a go slow as decluttering infections. I hadn’t felt quite right two weekends ago and then things blew up last week.just managed to keep myself out of the hospital by the skin of my teeth as my local hospital is very poor and I think it is actually written in my notes that I have a fear of the local hospital and to avoid at all costs. The GP I saw, not my regular one, was brilliant and gave me extra meds to help me, esp when I wanted to throw up in her surgery room and she was multi tasking, trying to examine me and pounce on a sickness bowl if needed!!
it meant a delay on another job lot of neutral items being delivered which I was very frustrated about, but that is now planned for this weekend instead.
i hate it when i fall out of routine but wanted to get into a better state as road tripping for a night away, for an event with a friend this week who fortunately can do all the driving if necessary. I can just sleep…..but hopefully not at the event as it’s a show I really want to see!!Decluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Well more importantly help the moth in my fridge!!!
I tried to direct it out and towards the open kitchen door to freedom but all in vain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's currently hiding amongst numerous bottles of sauce and juice and whatever else my OH thinks needs to kept in the fridge!!!!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe boards and spending & discounts boards. Thank you for my ⭐️gold star Mrs SD. Cat is still a bit annoyed, I am being shouted for most of the day until she falls asleep! She is sleeping on me as I type, so I think I’m back on her good list. You are right, it is a pain that the DC’s all go back on different days, they have different inset days throughout the year too! Thank you for your wishes about my Mum.
@Willowtree222 , glad you’ve got rid of your job if it was affecting your mental health, I’m sure you’ll find another one quickly and have a nicer place to work.
@Happy_Kitties I hope you feel better soon.
@Brie , this is very much DS2’s area of expertise! He has a thing about Moth’s and can generally eject them without damaging them. He favour’s an empty kitchen roll tube and a plastic tub, if that helps any.

- Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
- Concerted effort to sort out sleep patterns - Realistic targets: bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m
- Continue dealing with mail & email on a daily basis
- Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
- Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
- Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Monday continued: oops we nearly lost the wok - DH forgot to turn the hob off 😬 Fortunately I smelt something & went to check what was cooking 😉 Wok picked up, hob off, added a load of warmish water & returned to hob. I was too frightened to check, so DH came down & cleaned it……….saved 😮💨 I have finally gotten around to writing birthday cards - have written September & October cards - just the 8 🥳 Now need to buy a few more cards as I have 9 birthdays in November & 9 in December 😥 DH has gone for his walk & will post a birthday card & some letters for me as well as buying his dinner 😊 DH got back 16:30 - he had picked up the ingredients for a smoked salmon plain salad with a couple of boiled potatoes. DSis had lo cottage pie & I had a lo pork medallion in creamy Marsala sauce with lo mash (from freezer) - tasted OK & filled a gap but doesn’t freeze particularly well - live & learn 😉 DH went for another walk after dinner. Wudupa.
1589 - 1591 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans, glass bottle - recycled
1592 - 1594 Kitchen & lr detritus, plastic packaging - binned
ERNIE came through - £75 for DH & £25 for me.
Green_hopeful, I hope that, should you decide to rent out your aunt’s house, it goes well 🤞Hopefully there are enough of us who feed the birds & provide water so that the birds are OK 🙏Sounds like a lovely way to spend some time - touring an NT garden for free 😊
BlueJ94, no I don’t mind at all 🙂 Just a very bad routine 😔 although I have always been more of a night owl than a lark 😉
Brie, sorry no suggestions 🤔 although I did have to chuckle mostly at This “……whatever else my OH thinks needs to kept in the fridge!!!!” 🙊
Willowtree222, surprising how much stuff we accumulate at work 😥 so well done on only bringing home a few bits 👏 Good luck with your decluttering on Thursday 🍀
Excellent decluttering Happy_Kitties 👏 Sorry to hear how ill you have been 😞 although relieved to hear that the GP you saw was so efficient & proficient 😮💨 Hopefully being able to sleep in the car will mean you stay awake for the show 🙏
Lovely post StickyTheStickInsect 😊 Hopefully Cat will stop shouting at you 🤞& will settle for more cuddles 🤗
Sleep tight 😴

Moening all! So, a started listening to a podcast called "The Mindset Mentor" so far its been really good, it suggests waking an hour early before starting your work day. I usually wake at 6 to get ready to leave for work at 6.30 but today I set my alarm for 5.15 and got up at 5.30, I'm currently drinking my coffee and not feeling so rushed to get ready for work! It's still very dark out this morning but I do feel a bit better for waking up a lot earlier.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe boards and spending & discounts boards. Also quick note, I opened the room of doom yesterday and forgot how much I had decluttered so was genuinely surprised when I could actually open the door without hitting anything! 😂 OH must of got bored before bed too as i came downstairs and the whole kitchen had a mini clean, even the sink had been washed out and cleaned! I usually do this before bed but went straight to bed as it was later for me!

A bit behind so just skim read everything. Another difficult frog has come up and I'm fairly sure the rest of the committee are going to disagree with my view. I am hanging in there on this committee but not sure I will make the last year of my term. Presenting my little Family History group this morning - I do enjoy that. DGCs back to school Weds. DD will have an empty nest after this week as both children off to Uni - one for last year and one for their first.
I did so much on Saturday that I was so tired on Sunday and did nothing. Three loads to the tip. I managed to work out how the fixed dog guard comes out of car but only able to loosen it as I need someone to undo some screws. It came with the car and I thought it was screwed to car but it is simpler than that.
791 Bed base to tip in two trips
792 Headboard to tip
793-4 Two mouldy garden loungers
795-6 Two large bags of mixed cans and bottles to recycling (From DS2 house but they needed go)
797 Garage virtually emptied and loads of dirt, rubbish, bird droppings etc swept out (roof is now air tight but there were gaps before I had it reroofed
798 Some family history advances - waiting on certificate I've ordered to confirm
799-801 Frogs completed
802 Collected new screen savers for children's iPads. I had one repaired last week.
803 Tins of paint to tip
804 Two damaged dining chairs to recycling
805 Small wooden cupboard to recycling
I am left with a mattress and a large compost bin to dispose of plus an old kitchen unit rotting in my potting hut.
Right I need to get dressed and organised. Sox has decided to walk up and down on keyboard so my computer time is over. There was a creamy treat with his morning meal but plainly that was not enough.2025 Decluttering Campaign 805/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟
