Yes it was me tc77. I jot the date I watch or listen to them on their paper envelope hoping that it will help in a future thin-out to see the ones I've watched several times and the ones I've consistently passed over. Having them all listed on the excel spreadsheet means I can quickly find what I want to watch or listen to without having to keep them in alphabetical order. I've recently been enjoying musicals whilst I'm doing my huge photography project so I just glance down the printout looking for 'musical', check the number and quickly find the one I want. I've been enjoying evita, calamity Jane, my fair lady amongst others

Just lost my post!
@daisy_1571 think my dad has a spreadsheet as films have a number on them, I like the idea of noting when I watched.
La creuset def an investment !
@BlueJ94 good luck and will be cheering you on.
Broke my coffee pot as too near to the edge of the counter but had lovely family pick up.day bed and stowaway bed. Still have a mattress
And found more cds to sort8 -
- Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
- Concerted effort to sort out sleep patterns - Realistic targets: bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m
- Continue dealing with mail & email on a daily basis
- Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
- Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
- Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Saturday continued: We have had a few very short light showers not enough to really wet the paths or roads. DH got home 19:00 - slightly later than forecast due to speed restrictions on practically all the motorways ☹️ He brought more rain with him - as the showers have been slightly heavier & we can now tell it has rained. Dinner was cottage pie - with the meat base from the freezer & freshly made mash. Wudupa.
1573 - 1576 Kitchen recycling, booklet, drinks cans, glass bottle - recycled
1577 Kitchen detritus - binned
TC77, I remember how impressed I was when you stopped ‘wombling’ 😊 So I am very pleased to hear how much of a difference it has made 👏 Great idea to store the baking things until such time as you replace your oven 👏 Fingers crossed that the bed will be gone soon 🤞
Muddy_Walker, that is absolutely brilliant news 🥳🤩 & I totally agree with TC77’s comment “….. but shame on dwp and especially the assessors that you had to go to a tribunal” 😠
MadamMim2013, thanks for asking the question 😊
BlueJ94 thanks for the information 👏
Well said TC77 👏
Floss I like that idea of having cotton bags containing crafting works in progress ☺️
Well said MadamMim2013 ☺️
BlueJ94, that is what is called decluttering the stress of driving 😉
I have caught up a little but am nodding off so will head to bed. Sleep tight 😴

Floss I got rid of a set of Le Creuset pans in the hanging box thing for the same reason as you about 10 years ago at a car boot sale. Don't regret it, tbh I don't know what all the fuss is about. They were a wedding gift from my first attempt. I much prefer my middle of the range stainless steel pans I replaced them with.
I finished sewing up the blanket for DGS2 2B, iyswim! I just couldn't help myself and I have started crocheting a blanket with baby pastel scraps.
Today we are getting ready to go away for a few days early tomorrow morning. Quite a bit will not be coming back. The baby blanket and a bag of baby shower gubbins. Plus a bag of second hand books for DGS. Plus a big piece of ribbon from stash to tie the blanket with. Every little helps.
First stop tomorrow has to be the PO to post off the big sack of charity knits.
DD1 called yesterday and I remembered to give her the neoprene skirt back.
Out, a laptop charger cable that disassembled itself.
On the cards today, cut back a giant nettle that has grown like a triffid and almost got our bin monitor in the face! Change the bed. Pack cases and pack the car.
Mr V is at work tonight so it all needs to be done before touring cars start on the telly.
I confess to bringing in a beautiful free bench. The seat needs recovering. I shall look forward to doing this one. Gotta keep myself occupied. Haha.
Keep up the good work chums. Vx
:6 -
Got all my work stiff packed up ready to return to work. I officially leave today but I am handing back my things tomorrow. Quite a big bag to carry my laptop so that will be a space sorted. I am also giving an ex colleague a bag of books. We share the same likes so that will also be going to a good home. That will leave space on the shelf. I have been through some drawers and now have ideas for Christmas presents without spending any money. Will need that as decluttered my job today.
The mental stress was just too much and so I am now officially unemployed!
