Hi @London_1 Funny question but do you have any elf patterns. My craft group in Cowes are knitting them to raise money for our community club in Cowes and we are looking for as many different patterns as we can.
@basketcase lots of the coloured yarn that you decluttered to me ilast year s now being knitted up into lots of cheeky elves. I will post pics when we have a few more. We are also knitting small random acts of kindness elves to distribute around Cowes and if we get enough we will spread them further afield on the Isle of Wight. I hope that you rad this as we haven't heard from you for a while
Don't know quite what we are decluttering with the grandchildren here but our main bin is filling up very quickly. It makes you realise how much packaging is on food. Hello hello hello, I'm back under a new name. I was found out in real life and as my life is all up in turmoil I didn't want to continue with my diary and user name!
It's been a few months. But I'm back and back to de cluttering. Still going to move next year. But actually helping my mum have a major sort out as she downsizes from her huge 4 bed semi moving to a 2 bed flat. We found one she likes, but her's has only just gone on the market 2 days ago, so fingers crossed someone will see it soon and love it. It's a beautful house, but tired now, but was a lovely family home. We moved here when I was 5, 40 odd years ago! Mum's now 81 and really needs to move now, before it become to difficult / too late.
So must of my efforts for decluttering will be focusing on reducing mums stuff, by about 50% 😬😬😬
Bunk beds and hostess trolley have just been listed!!
Now off to catch up on what you lovely lot have been doing!5 -
Welcome @Bananabreadyum ,sounds a challenge ahead of you, however we're all here to cheer you on
Went to se upholsterer at lunchtime and going to send photos I showed him, sofa, vinyl on 1960 chair, headboard covering and 2 Lloyd loom blanket box lids ( my attempt not good enough ) and will get quote. Its the cost of the van to take and pick up sofa which is high which is partly why getting other things done. Also quote for sorting neighbours overhanging trees and removing large shrubs etc.
Picked up picture, lovely framer who put a print found at my dad's in a frame I had with v faded print £10 including mount so chuffed.
After work too 3 things back / posted and dropped off cs bag to which I added
Shoes, jumper and 3 pairs of new tights,
Out some Old pegs so counting as 9/50 of the target for next few days.5 -

Hi all, another lovely day with Dniece but no luck sorting my ticket down load though I did make some progress but I will have to be up early tomorrow again to get on the chat help line 🙄. Lovely meal out tonight in a restaurant where they unexpectefly had live entertainment in the form of a singer in a very slinky dress accompanied by a guitarist who looked like cousin it 😂
Decluttered a pair of slippers and a rucksack with a broken strap. No idea why I kept it, must have thought I'd mend it, but I have another I can use which was found in the conservatory 😁.
@weenancyinAmerica happy birthday 😁 hope you have a great day x
Right off to bed. Hugs to everyone who would like one

Thank you for the birthday wishes. I made it to the Dollar Store with my sisters and we had lunch at one of my sister's home, but didn't make it to the thrift shop yet. Will have to try that on another day. Both of my nephews called - one I sort of expected, the other was a total surprise. But so happy to get both calls. Was 32C at Disneyland yesterday, closer to 30C today. I live only a couple of miles away.4

- Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
- Concerted effort to sort out sleep patterns - Realistic targets: bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m
- Continue dealing with mail & email on a daily basis
- Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
- Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
- Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Friday: finally got up 13:30 A lovely sunny day with a high of 25°C, low of 16°C & humidity 44%. Thank you all for your condolences re my ex BiL. My nephew has been helping his stepmother (aka my ex SisiL) make the arrangements to return his dad’s body to the U.K. - endless paperwork & dealing with officialdom 😢 but is now back in his own flat. I have done nothing all day apart from nap & watch TV. DH phoned 17:25 - the early start meant he arrived in Wales 09:15 & had a really good day - managed to get all his planned landmarks + 2 from tomorrow’s list. DSis & I each made our own dinners - she had a bacon sandwich whilst I had lo linguine. Wudupa
1452 - 1454 Kitchen recycling, completed Sudoku book, paper packaging - recycled
1455 - 1457 Kitchen & lr detritus, Uu pen - binned
I will catch up with the cheerleading tomorrow. Sleep tight everyone 😴

Hi weenancy, have a great birthday.
I do hope you have / had a lovely day and some cake 🎂😍
I am with my mum today, had 1 enquiry about the beds I listed, but then they asked for delivery! Rather annoying as I clearly stated collection only, plus it will need a van anyway!!
Started looking at photos yesterday, old old ones. Discarded the scenery ones, emptied a couple of albums and people we had no clue who they were! Also multiple copies and so many dog pics🤣🤣🤣
So that was a bag gone and no longer having to be moved.
Hoping to get her to look through 1 of the big cupboards today
And then go out for cake 😍2
