Apologies if I have missed anything, I still have 13 pages to catch up on. RL has been busy with me travelling for work, juggling medical stuff and procedure, organising the next lot of trips away including booking the cat sitter and fighting the onset of an acute fatigue attack…those can wait post surgeries….i haven’t the time now!
263)-271) 9 cat toys thrown away that were very grubby, or flattened from me running over them with the wheelchair or one cat deciding to relieve himself over some🙈
272) another mug broken, cats again. Need to really buy some new ones now.
273)-274) soft plastics into supermarket recycling x 2. Trying not to let them build up.275)-278) items x 4 sold on V
Due to drop off several batches of neutral items in the forthcoming weeks and then in Sept/Oct they really start to leave. Really happy as I want to try and tackle a room at the time to clean, struggling at the moment….but that’s the dream@Wednesday2000 I tried to get Oasis tickets but couldn’t. Stayed on the phone for 3 hours bec of needing wheelchair space and then there was a message to say places full. However friend also in a wheelchair said I should have stayed on the line like they did for 6 hours and got tickets. Don’t think I would have lasted that long tbhDecluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you for the stars Mrs SD. I am so sorry to hear about your ex brother in law.x
Soft plastics to supermarket recycling.
All furniture painting done.
For the tip ,2 Ikea bedside drawers from the studio. Offered on thrift but no takers. Also for the tip, more wires and a dodgy electric heater.
A big wooden box given to man shed. Several part used tins of paint to man shed.
We are starting to bring things home from Mum's house. It looks like her house will complete soon. Our house sale has been going on so long I am beginning to lose enthusiasm for the move. It will happen but I am fed up now. It could be another 5 weeks.

@Happy_Kitties good to see you and can believe your cats have been up to mischief again knocking over cups.
Dd2's friend picked up.some toiletries, sorted another older and wrapped sold item to go out.
Bought a new bedspread, old one is v good quality but old ( made in England) but has some ink spots ( its white) so can't give to cs o may use as a throw on sofa which I don't like.
1431 think I may be rounding up but small bits out.

Hi all, well I made it with 10 mins to spare which left me time to have a shower and wash the cobwebs out of my hair 😂. Met dniece at the bus stop, so lovely to see her. Out for a nice meal as I just hadn't had time to even think about a meal let alone cook it 😂. She is exasperated with my dsis, I will have to phone her but it won't be until next week as I plan to spend all the time I can with my Dniece until she travels to Swansea to visit a friend in Saturday and I will be driving down to London on Saturday for the football on Sunday and driving home after the match so I might just be sleeping on Monday 😂.
So today the last of OH's heap was finally cleared and 3 x lr recycling was emptied. 1 LDFPA, bedroom bin, lr bin, 3 more rags worn away and binned. Pair of split wellies binned, the car was given a basic clean and hoover to remove the mess from moving the wood. It needs a proper valet really but as I have more wood to move next week it's not worth getting it done yet. Personally I don't mind my car being a bit messy but then I am used to using the seat of my pants to clean the floor 😂. The hoover was emptied twice today 😂.
Tomorrow we are off to see the Monet thing and a bit of sight seeing and then out for tea to my fav restaurant 😁.
On Friday I think I will take her to the local NT property, Speke Hall, if she fancies it as I have a local membership which covers anyone in my household. The weather is forecast good so we can have a walk around the grounds as well as see the house 😁.
@Mrs SD yes it would be nice if OH helped with some of the other things but right now I am just grateful that the heaps have been moved and I am going to nag if anything looks like becoming a heap in the future. OH is usually not working on Monday so that is the day I am going to designate as hoovering the lr, anything that shouldn't be there will be removed 😂
@Vulpix inspired idea to take the paint to the man shed. I struggle to get rid of bits of paint. The local tip said that the only things they don't take are gas canisters and nuclear weapons but they lied, they don't take paint either 😂.
Right time to get to sleep. Hugs to everyone who would like one
Numbers are now 1122 so I have caught up a bit but I doubt anything will be decluttered in the next few days except money 😂.
Take care everyone

- Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
- Concerted effort to sort out sleep patterns - Realistic targets: bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m
- Continue dealing with mail & email on a daily basis
- Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
- Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
- Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Wednesday continued: Humidity went up to 63% + temperature went up to a high of 24°C DH decided to start tackling the storage space above the garage door. He now has a stack of items for the Tip including 2 motorcycle tyres bought 10 years ago 😱, large bag of carpet offcuts, large plastic parts of broken & dismantled leaf blower, broken walker now dismantled, plastic packaging, a length of hosepipe & 2 old pillows (why did we keep them 🤔)
1431 - 1439 items for Tip
DH successfully cleared half the space 👏 You might remember that my DSis swapped out her double bed for a single a few weeks ago. Since then DH has been trying really hard to find a new home with absolutely no success 😞 So the dismantled bed frame is being put in the newly created storage space in the garage but sadly the mattress will have to go to the Tip 😢
I managed 2 loads of LDFPA. Dinner was sausages, mash, baked beans & chopped tomatoes. Wudupa.
1440 - 1444 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans, 2 newspapers, small glass jar - recycled
1445 Kitchen detritus - binned
GrannyKate, a busy day with some excellent decluttering 👏 despite Sox’s distracting behaviour 😂
Great work rearranging your medicine cupboards Willowtree222 👏
You are very welcome Soontobeoap 😊 Great work decluttering all the cardboard boxes 👏
Wow you have been busy Happy_Kitties 🤩 Excellent decluttering especially the sales on V 👏 I wouldn’t have lasted 3 hours trying to get tickets for anything never mind Oasis 😥 just a shame that you weren’t successful 😔
vulpix, thank you - it was a bit of a shock 😢 Excellent work finishing the furniture painting & finding even more bits to declutter 👏 Fingers crossed that it won’t take 5 more weeks 🤞
Great work TC77, every bit out helps 👏
Excellent work Liverpool_Anne & well done on getting everything done 👏 It sounds like you will have a lovely time with DNiece 🥹 although a bit of a shame that it is only a short visit 😔 Good luck with the hoovering & hopefully OH will ‘remember’ to continue keeping things tidy 🤞
Will post this & head off to bed. Sleep tight everyone 😴

Mrs SD, I hope Dsis is enjoying the extra space in her room. Did the British heart foundation not take the old bed? Have you tried freegle and freecycle?
Forgot another pen dried up. I think over time my stash of pens and paper may go and have space at the moment.
Have 2 v neck jumpers which could go, one has some bobbles but also had a stain I got rid of. The thing is I don't have other v necks and I wear shirts alot so do I replace. I have a surplus of other things but they don't give up!
I had bought a cream leather jacket from a cs, really nice with a collar but would need a scarf to brighten up and realised I have decluttered light weight scarfs to the extent I would need to buy more and also abit snug so will go back to cs.
Will have clothes clear out in Sept when swap them around ut do think it's about getting all in one place as I have 2 cheats of drawers and also clothes in the spare room and 2 wardrobes so don't see altogether.6 -
Yes TC I do think it would be helpful to put all your clothes together. Worth taking a days holiday to do it if you can. I would also try everything on and if it doesn't fit properly or it does nothing for you ,get rid of it.
I have got a lot of clothes and do this probably every season. I always find things I had completely forgotten about.
Top work Liverpool Anne, when your Monday cleaning only takes a few minutes, OH will enjoy the space and could want the same in other areas if you keep pointing out how fab it is of course, every time, over months and months..Softly. softly catchee monkey. Have a splendid time with your Niece. We went to an immersive Monet thing just before lock down, it was fabulous.
Have to go, Mr V is on a banana box hunt and I am going to Mum's to cover the dining chair seats.

Decluttered the sideboard this morning. Emptied a carrier bag of "bits" that haas been sat by the sofa end table for about a year! Most of the contents have gone in recycling. Things I want to keep have made it to the sideboard. Home made cards are now in the sideboard so much easier to use. Pile of big envelopes sorted to send to mum. Found toiletries from last Christmas in the sideboard, now going up to the bathroom.Happy with that.Big green recycling bin wasnt emptied this week - they have promised to come back but said it may take a few more days. In the meantime I am stuck as to where to put the full bags I have mounting up. Cant put them in the yard as we have lots of cats, foxes and badgers and the little monsters like to tear the bags to invvestigate contents - learnt that a while ago!Decluttered the dirty laundry bin, managing to keep the laundry down to 2 machine loads but know I have a load of towels for tomorrow. As I have no outside line yet (DH has promised one and is collecting all the bits needed) I am having to tumble dry but am also filling the airer.Hope everyone is having a good week xxSaving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

As it was a wedding present decades ago ( and to the perso who has caused the multi year frog) I want to really pass on maybe I can offer with the suggestion of being able to dye! I'm so accident prone I can see tr floor or other things also dyed7
