Yesterday I hulked out all of the contents of the wardrobe and found items I’d forgotten all about as they were ‘down the far end’ also found some items to leave and, as we had a doorstep collection coming today into the bag they went. The remaining decluttering taking place is cake. It was my birthday last Sunday.I will shortly be decluttering money to the plumber. The shower valve died this morning. Inconveniently before I’d showered. Fortunately whatever has come unseated/snapped has come adrift in the off position. New replacement valve ordered and arriving tomorrow and plumber booked for Tuesday. I’m still wondering it it’s normal to get kisses on the end of messages from your very happily married plumber….😉✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Lol, it was in my mind as I've just dyed a top that had what looks like a sauce stain, hasn't quite covered the issue but is a lovely colour now and wearable again. Mr ds hands were blue for a short while but no other things were dyed (did it outside in one of those plastic builders buckets)
DxxTC77 said:@daisy_1571 I'm reminded you suggested this for something else. As it was a wedding present decades ago ( and to the perso who has caused the multi year frog) I want to really pass on maybe I can offer with the suggestion of being able to dye! I'm so accident prone I can see tr floor or other things also dyed

decluttered a lot of hair and angst with the help of my hair guy. Last saw him in April so nearly 4 months which is a heck of a long time when you like your hair very short!! He's a good friend and a great listener so dumped a lot of family frustration on him. He then did the same to me but when it's not your own family it slides off so much easier.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. @Liverpool_Anne For future reference, the tip near Tarbock Island takes paint. (opposite Aldi as you go towards the junction).
@TC77 machine dye is excellent, but it might take 2 pots. Maybe you could embroider around the spots to make a feature? Are the ink spots on both sides? Could it go to animal rescue for bedding?2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Mrs_SD: condolences for your sad news.Sad news from France - nephew phoned & his dad had suffered a pulmonary embolism & despite doctors trying to resuscitate him for 45 minutes they were unable to revive him 😢
@vulpix: I'm sorry your moving is going so slowly and taking the excitement out of it.
It seems really busy here this week, I find myself well behind. Well done for all that decluttering! 👏
I've been through the last rooms and almost everything is packed, or sorted ...
Tomorrow I'll do the last loads of laundry, and will need to dry today's which got a thorough natural rinsing on the line (opps) and is now being darked-upon. 😢 Also tomorrow a final tip run, a trip to deliver to CS, and DD2 wants to visit a shop called Heavenly Desserts.
There's the last bits to do, with maybe 6 boxes part-packed to receive any remainders: Charge gadgets and pack away the charge station, get the TV off the wall onto its stand, sort the pictures & mirrors, face the dumping drawer in the living room, clean and pack away the bins, and so on. All looking under control with 3 days to go, so I've started to research the stuff we need to buy/replace so I can order as soon as we're ready.

Went to mum's house all day and forgot to take my phone. I was going to surprise you with a nice photo of the box of rocks.
I spent ages blanket stitching the edge of a large rug and darning a bit of a hole. It looks much better and will be under the dining table so not noticeable. Put all the drawer knobs back on the green painted drawers. (love em) Only covered 2 chair seats. It took for ever to disassemble the curtains and cut 6 pieces of velvet to size. We brought a lot of things home which we have been storing at Mum's whilst we had viewings on our house, all the gifted curtains and a couple of stools which I bought from FB.
Tomorrow Mr V is taking an office chair to donate to his work, it's in the car already.
Happy Birthday Floriana. x
So close YBR, exciting times ahead.

Hi all, had a great day with Dniece at the Monet thing and some sight seeing plus fav meal at my favourite restaurant. Home quite early but then spent literally hours trying to down load a footy ticket onto my phone and failed miserably so I am going to have to be up early to try to sort it out tomorrow before we head out again. I always find these things very stressful. While on the laptop 100 emails deleted but that's all the decluttering done today 😁
@Mrs SD very sad news, big hugs to everyone
@Floss thanks for the tip info. I never checked that tip as it is in a different borough 😁
@Vulpix I definitely want a photo of the box of rocks 😂
Right time to get some sleep now. Hugs to everyone who would like one
