@Mrs_Salad_Dodger - I am following along on the map remembering what it was like. Keep us updated on where you are each. Hope you are recovering. Attacked by your hotel room - most unfair. Have a great trip.11

Mrs SD hoping you're recovered. Lovely photo and enjoy hearing about your trip, amazing how far and wide you're travelling.
No decluttering, brought home felting from my creative textile course and will think if and how it stays.
Not sleeping well but will be up and do some work before going to my aunt's funeral and celebration of her life which was long and happy. Still sad and the last of her generation on both sides. I will see cousins (.her children all live abroad), and I'm so glad I spent time with her a few months ago.

- Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
- Concerted effort to sort out sleep patterns - Realistic targets: bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m
- Continue dealing with mail & email on a daily basis
- Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
- Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
- Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Tuesday: Unfortunately neither DH nor I slept well last night as the room was like a sauna & having the portable fan on was rather noisy although absolutely needed otherwise we would have cooked 😉 Wide awake since 06:30 so thought I would do a bit of cheerleading:
Lovely to see you Happy_Kitties 👋 Excellent decluttering & great work on the neutral items 👏 I do believe awards will be due so have made a note to check when I get home 😉
Excellent work TC77 👏 & congratulations on reaching your target of 50 for the weekend 🥳 A medal 🏅 is on its way. P.S. bearing in mind how long frogs usually take to sort out I think you should definitely count them in future 😊
Lovely to see you Dizzycap 👋 Hope you & babyface are OK & that Mummy & Daddy Swan are proud parents of 9 cygnets 🤞
suzeesu2000, sounds like the family tree might almost be completed 🤞Great work decluttering both the heavy, enormous blanket thing & the two bags of knitted squares 👏
Lovely to see you Jellybaby 👋 Hope you had a lovely holiday 😊 Well done on decluttering doctors appointments & hopefully the hospital appointments will be decluttered just as quickly 🤞Good luck decluttering the TV unit drawers 🍀
Great decluttering suzeesu2000 👏 Love the idea of your kitty wearing slippers 😅
Alarm has gone off so will post this before getting dressed & heading off to breakfast. Currently dry outside with a temperature of 14°C - we will be heading off to Inveraray with the forecast set to be only 16°C so might need to put a jumper on.
Hope everyone has a good day 😊 & I will see you later 👋

Hope you are feeling better today MrsSD after your fall. We were just in Brighton for the weekend and our Airbnb room was like a sauna too! I was glad to be back in my own bed last night. There was a portable fan there, but it didn't work, helpfully.2025 GOALS

Garden table and chairs sold today. Will count as one bin bag out! A few pennies going into the coffers to help with living room decoration
We did take your advice and bought a steamer @Mrs_Salad_Dodger. It was very cheap and as we have no more wallpaper to remove I figured if I keep the box I can sell it on and it would be cheaper than hiring one. 😊craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,

Mrs SD - take care - no more falls! I don't know if I will be able to take Mr F away now - he has aids in the house that wouldn't be there in an Air b n b.
Mr F got up three times in the night so I had disturbed sleep.
Did the washing and ironing this morning before doing more sorting for the charity shops.
We walked into town - not too hot as there was a breeze off the sea.
I saw a woman standing outside the gents toilets and then a lady came out - apparently - the ladies is closed. I would have to be desperate to go in the gents!
Not much room in the freezers but I managed to buy and squeeze in 4 lollies. We have already eaten two.
Someone asked for a recycling bag on FB - we have spares so she is meant to be collecting this afternoon.
I took a collection of 40/50 year old tea towels to the charity shop - they will be sent to one of their vintage shops.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

More tidying than decluttering today, also a couple of loads of laundry.I've fixed the (notional) floor plan at the new house and started to label the furniture with which rooms it's to go in. The boxes will also need labels at some point.I'll also print some sheets to put out so the removals men can easily set each item approximately where it's wanted, and to label the different bedrooms "Griffindor" / "Ravenclaw" / "Prefects'"
My daughters don't seem to appreciate my designations for them.
Had a couple of silly offers for an art deco armchair we won't need, and I've got fed up. It can go to a local charity rather than sell to time wasters.Decluttering awards 2025: 🏅🏅🏅⭐️ ⭐️, DH: 🏅⭐️ and one for Mum: 🏅14 -
