@Liverpool_Anne fab cake
@Brie so sorry to hear about such a difficult family time.
Realisation I need to take a different to my chaotic home. There are areas which are tidy , mainly as I don't use them:) took apart and washed out my fountain pen as found bottles of ink, and needed another wash out so this morning thought I'd put together but where is the nib? If I can't keep track of things then need another approach. While there is less I think getting older I find it harder to cope with new homes for things and having to keep so much in my head.
Hoovered this morning and wash on ( although machine also struggling so it was a long 30 min wash) before getting on way to work.
Dd1 finally got dr appt ( 6 week wait) who was alarmed at her ankle - looks as if pins are pushing out so referred her back to hospital so may when she gets to see anyone have another operation. She lives in the top flat of a tall victorian house so we will see.
Going to make a list for this weekend and setting a target of 50 items out.

You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x11 -
Hello - I have had my operation (which wasn't as bad as I had worked up in my mind) and am recovering in the tlc carriage. I had already cleared my week to do absolutely nothing, so it's not a problem to be sitting around. I was the least risky person on the list and so had to wait until 6pm for my operation (I had to be there at 12:30), so it was quite a boring wait! In recovery I was the last in and the first out. I recovered so quickly they asked me how I stayed so fit! I hadn't realised I was, but it's nice to know I must be keeping myself healthy.I did do some decluttering Mon/Tues, but didn't feel up to posting, so I am catching up now. Loads of stuff in as I was partly stress buying before the op, although all things that will absolutely be used and were already on a wish list: +10 DD hair clips/bands, +1 plant, +2 candle/candleholder, +1 set of drawers to store DS's tat, +2 nail varnish.@London_1Lovely to hear from you again. I missed your posts@Brie It sounds like a difficult time for everyone with a lot of emotions swirling around. Just make sure you do whatever you feel you need to do for your own grieving process, whether that's holding your own memorial, sharing memories over a nice meal, going away for a couple of days, planting a tree or whatever.Digital:

Liverpool_Anne - that is so cute - well done.
Not many of us at singing group last night. We rehearsed the praise song for Sunday and attempted some new ones.
Gave Mr F his antibiotic last night as prescribed - had a good sleep - lie in. He did spend quite a while on the toilet when he got up.
I had a phone call - someone from the pharmacy couldn't find us. The usual delivery woman is on holiday and other staff are filling in. I went outside so she could see where my house was.
I have trimmed off a dress hem this morning - now need to press new turnings and stitch.
No cooking today - I have dinner left over from SA yesterday.
Dgd has applied for another teaching job.
I decluttered some shopping bags to SA food bank yesterday.
I have a large bag of shredding to put out for tomorrow's collection - Mr F did some decluttering in the office.

Queen Jess, I still have my eye on those whole almonds! Glad the op went well.
Brie, hugs. Bereavement can do funny things to people when emotions are running high. You did the right thing. The suggestion of your own celebration for your Mum is a great one.
You can relax people, the box of rocks is still there! Mr V has just gone to the house to check for post. Phoned him to take a pic but he has left. Next time...next time. They've only been there 40 odd years, no rush.
TC, you are very hard on yourself. Turn what you have achieved already into a positive. You have decluttered so much and are on it constantly. Well done. There may be more to do but you are tenacious and don't give up and don't think you have to declutter in the same way other people do. You are a butterfly and skip from thing to thing, but butterflies still achieve their aims with the bonus of looking beautiful whilst they are at it!
Nice little troll man there Liverpool Anne. Vexing about the little footballs. I saw loads at Christmas in those little nets. I do hope the weather is nice for your holiday. Give me a shout if you want to meet for a coffee.
I am feeling calmer today after some tlc by Mr V and the Estate Agent. She said if you lose your buyer we will just find you another one. The voice of reason. She also said they have a property coming on the books which we might like.
I had a bit of retail therapy yesterday at the £1 chazzer. £9 frittered, just like that. I got a dinosaur rucsac with reins, two picture frames possibly for DS, M&S jumper, M&S nightie bnwt, sparkly bolero bnwt, Next top, a yellow top and another thing obviously so memorable I can't recall it. Some tried on, all but frames in the wash, all going back to the chazzer in the future.
I am still keeping up with my sit ups,not got a six pack yet. lol
Buyers survey done, boiler service for us tomorrow. Think we are up to date with our sale. Someone has nicked Mum's black bin. I will leave it to the new owners to buy a new one from the council. Strange you have to buy one but it still belongs to the council.
Right, I am on a mission. I am going to bring down all the bricks from the top garden and split some plants and pot them up to take with me. Rain forecast later. More knitting, I actually think there is a dent in the wool stash.

suzeesu2000 said:London_1 may I recommend Dimbola Lodge to you for a visit? The house is a museum dedicated to Julia Margaret Cameron who was a photographer from 1860. There is also an exhibition from the original IOW festival held back in 1970 at Afton Down. On the site downstairs is a cafe where you can sit inside or outdoors. There is parking right outside too and they do amazing cakes and meals. Freshwater Bay is just down the road and there are seats to sit and watch the world. Well worth a visit to Freshwater.
.
Freshwater is beautiful. Last summer as usual we parked up at Yarmouth and walked the dogs and boys along the old railway line to Freshwater and The End of the Line Cafe. The boys hired some bikes and even DD had a go and she hadn't been on a bike for over 45 yearsher sons were quite impressed at their Mum on a bicycle
The dogs enjoyed the long walk, and I liked it as there are a few seats where you can sit and just watch the wildlife , a good few red squirrels on that trail as well. with the trees it doesn't get too hot as well.
One of the best views of the island is coming down from the Military Road and seeing the bay and cliffs in front .The boys have even taken their rods on the beach when we have stopped there for a picnic. The west side of the island is a very peaceful place, and we have stayed there several times over the years before moving, as it is so quiet. Crabbing by the bridge at Yarmouth was pretty popular with the boys.
Today its raining but I'm happy with that as it will fill up the water butts and save me watering We are due some decent sunshine by the weekend and I think we are going with two of DDs friends to Yaverland to have a picnic on the beach and DD will have a swim with her pal ,depending on the tides as the left hand side of Yaverland beach is dog friendly.
Yippeeour decorator arrived, and is at the moment painting the spare room as its in need of a spruce up,Its the first room to be decorated as we said if we start upstairs and work down a bit at a time it will make sure its all done eventually.
The two dogs are surprisingly quiet as they now have got used to tradesmen coming and going I think . The other patio man came yesterday so fingers crossed we get another quote by tomorrow.
Just about to make some lunch for DD and I and I'll see if the painter is hungry as well
Onwards and upwards

Good morning. Sending hugs for those that nedd them. Started watching The handmaid's Tale last night, turned it off at midnight after 2 episodes as had to be up for 6. Got the kids off to school/college/work and watched another 2 episodes.
Yesterday was a quick clean of the living room as DD rang as she needed to go shopping. Just a coat in to the charity bag that id washed the day before.
Today should be the kitchen but all I've managed so far is a shower, lots ot tea and to load the dishwasher. Really need to get it sorted before the shopping arrives as I have DD2s award ceremony at college this evening.
2 more school day for the teens and that's my last ones leaving school. No more school mornings after 21 years. Hopefully they get the grades for college in September.
Right, im just delaying, better go start the kitchen.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554
