I'm in again...thanks @Mrs_Salad_Dodger
My decluttering is mainly slowly whittling things out that I don't need or use, and ideally doing 1 in, 1 out on clothes.
I also want to sort my garden front & back properly, and hopefully swap my bath for a walk-in shower + tiling / decorating.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Count me in please. We are hoping to move in 2025 so need to declutter still more before we do.
Declutter aims-
read books I have had for years and then sell on, listen to CDs and Lps and sell those I don't want anymore
Use up toiletries, make up etc that I have before buying more
Use up food and cleaning supplies in pantry
Will follow everyone's progress with interest25 -

I'd like to join again. Having finally decluttered the builders it's now down to me; I have so much stuff but I still need to get to the emotional place where I can let it go.
I'm not setting targets because I can end up very depressed/despondent if I don't hit them. It's going to be a gradual process but I do want to increase the number of visits to the tip and bags to the charity shop.
I also have a very large crafting stash so I'll be looking at that too.
2025 is going to be a good year.

Hi,
I'll be clambering aboard with luggage, - hopefully most for the TLC carriage and consumption!
Huge gratitude to Mrs SD for steering up and supporting us in 2024 and again for the New Year.
Looking forward to travelling along with the long standing declutterai family and to meeting many more.
10 areas I'd like to tackle in 2025 (not expecting them to be all complete) are:
Jewellery
Kitchen/ crockery
Photographs
Digital
Books
Stationeŕy/ papers ( à big area)
Craft stuff
Clothes/ shoes
Sentimental/ family , from kids and parents
Finances
My target will be 2025 excluding frogs- I may count this separately or at least report major wins on this front when they happen!26 -
Evening All,
Count me in for 2025 please. This thread is so supportive in all aspects of life not just decluttering.
Lots has happened during 2024 including a new Jobband now full time, 2 family members receiving diagnoses and hoping they stay stable 🙏 and loads of other things happening.
Not sure what my declutter aims will be yet but is most definitely needed.25 -
I’d like to join please ,
I think I did last year but didn’t post much ,
I find it v difficult to keep count ,but did take a lot of things to CS
i decluttered my hip ( but got a new one !) so I hope to get to the tip several times ,our tip has metal steps up to the containers and it has been impossible
some of the staff will help but quite a few won’t. ,hope this year I can manage it .
i have two small bags of Cllr and books ready for when the CS open
I need to tidy too

No numbers but I have (yet another) cunning plan. To take all those bags that come through the letter box and do a divide and conquer. 1 for charity shop, 1 for fabric recycling (which may be the CS as well) 1 for absolute garbage (does anyone want to look at my old knickers???) and maybe a 4th for vinting. Vinting is low priority for me as it's time consuming, an unknown thing for me and I really don't want to get in to it. But will for some things - MiL's china thimbles and a few truly retro items that I've seen advertised at 3+ figures elsewhere.

Hi all, I am in for 2025 and my target will be 2025. I will never remember each item so it will continue to be bags or largish items that go straight to the bin or recycling or tip or cs
I have quite a few other goals for next year but I haven't put numbers on them yet but I would like to lose some weight and as OH also needs to lose weight we are working on a plan.
I really want a new kitchen next year, been prevaricating for 2 years now, but we have a major issue to resolve in that we might need to have a downstairs loo put in under the stairs and this will impact on the kitchen refurb so decisions need to be made, not my strongest attribute.
I spend far too long playing with electronic devices so I am going to limit that
I have yarn that needs using so a target of 12 items made next year
I will learn how to sort out my signature
I am really looking forward to next year and continuing the journey on the EDT with everyone and hopefully seeing some new people as well
Thank you @Mrs SD for this thread, I for one would really miss it if it were not here. Here's to a healthy, productive and joyful 2025 for all the declutterati
Take care everyone23
