- Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
- Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
I read a dozen pages of my book & am now back to cheerleading for a bit whilst finishing my 2nd cuppa. Might go back to bed for an hour or so, but will see how I feel 😉
Excellent decluttering Brambling 👏 This “I dropped bags off at the CS for a friend and realised I had left mine at home 🙄” brought a wry grin as it is the sort of thing I do 😅 The other day when I went to the P.O. I realised when I got to the bus stop that I was still wearing my reading glasses 🙊 It might be slightly more effort moving things upstairs but it sounds like you will be far happier with a tidy downstairs 😊 Great work sorting out financial frogs 👏 & hopefully you will find that having expressed the thought that you “are dithering” you will find making the “important decision” easier 🤞Sounds like you are very well organised 😊
TC77, shame about the broken cup but very pleased to hear no injuries 😮💨 Well done on tackling one frog & starting on another 👏 Steady progress 😊 Good luck getting DD2’s room emptied 🍀 Please be careful moving furniture 🙏
Great decluttering sqwiffy 👏 Hope you enjoyed your art class & had a good time meeting up with your friend 😊
A very short stint of cheerleading but I have finished my coffee & have decided to go back to bed 😉 I hope everyone has as good a day as possible 😊 & that the weather is kind 🤞 Here it is currently dry but it did rain overnight. See you later 👋

Tackling condensation mould again today. This time in front bedroom where it was really black down the side of our big wardrobe. I feel so ashamed . Because it was against a wall I just hadn't seen it. Only investigated it further after it began to appear under window. Went and bought some anti mould cleaner but when I was rummaging for rubber gloves to use whilst working on it I discovered that I already had a bottle under the sink. If I was more organized that would have saved £11.95. I am now ashamed and annoyed. Emotions are running high here today!!! 🤣 I guess there is room for improvement. Also we had to empty out the wardrobe to move it! The amount of craft stuff in there is surprising even to me. Nothing is going back in until I have been through and checked it all. I will be very systematic! That is my February challenge. DD and GS's are coming to stay in that room on 17th so I have a deadline.
On the bright side I have maintained a tidy hall landing and dining room. ( The cupboards still need going through though) So feeling pleased that those have not slid back into junk areas. Also man came and chopped the bottom off of our bathroom door for £10.00 . We had tried ourselves but didn't have right tools it would appear! That happened to me with mould when I moved in here as I didn't realise you had to be careful in old houses. I had mould all over the back of a mirror and a chest of drawers as I had put them against an external wall.
I have more things to go for a bulky waste collection. I don't know how many times I have done this since I moved here. The online portal wasn't working so I will have to call up Monday. My job of the day is to deep clean the bathroom floor. I have just done vacuuming and a load of laundry so I will have a break watching YouTube for a while before I tackle it.2025 GOALS

@Soontobeoap and @Wednesday2000 I have an ongoing battle with condensation mould on my kitchen’s outside wall. It gets ALL the weather thrown at it and we’re on the top of a hill so it gets cold quickly in this weather. iIt’s an ongoing battle and nothing to be embarrassed about. My house is coming up 100 years old and it likes to ‘breathe’ so I try to keep the air circulating, lids on pans when cooking and can often be found with the back door open when cooking in the middle of winter
Oh and D*ttol Mould and Mildew spray is very good.✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Certainly no need for shame at all stbo, in our last house we had to leave the final door of the wardrobes open all the time otherwise it got mould inside, had done for 40odd years since my grandparents owned the house, just one of those things and now you know about it you can be more vigilant

Hello lovely people! I know we usually post decluttering things but I need some moral support/a sensible opinion. **This is NOT for medical advise**
I briefly mentioned a few days ago that I was sent to MAU with a suspected DVT after my dr was horrified I’d left what I thought was tendinitis in my leg for a few months. I do have a small blood clot behind my knee and am being treated for it. I’ve also been signed off for 4 weeks…..but of a shock! There will be specialists involved and lots of poking and prodding.
Having had a “small” bleed on the brain in 2015 and now stage 1 cancer - I can’t help thinking I am an imposter as “small” “stage 1” to my mind are very little to worry about. And there are many many people out there who are much worse off.
i will rest during my time off and will do some decluttering but it won’t be the quantities I see in the posts.
thank you xxx

I would sit and rest if that is what has been advised. You can always sit with a basket of laundry to sort, a drawer, digital decluttering etc. as your brain is still active you will obviously get bored
If you are a crafter, knit ,crochet or hand sew to use up stash as you sit. Ring friends and get them to come and collect books, magazines that they might like. All these things can be done whilst resting your knee. Stick to the medical advice rigidly otherwise you will take longer to heal and just become more frustrated. Read a few books that you can declutter afterwards. And my favourite make lists of what you hope to achieve which will give you a head start when you get going again.Take care of yourself. You deserve it. Good luck. Hope your recovery goes to plan.

Muddy_Walker - the doctor obviously thinks you need time off so try to enjoy a rest. Everyone reacts to illness in different ways - re men - with their man flu and we women carry on with our tasks as usual.
I popped to SA this morning as I had a collection of plates to return. I came home with some yummy M & S cakes - we shared one for our mid morning break.
I am concerned that Mr F is eating well but not moving about to burn calories - in the past he has put weight on easily.
I took a trolley and bag full to the charity shop. On the way home I called at the community shop.
I filled and took another trolley and bag of items to the £2 charity shop. They are not taking donations next week as overwhelmed. I got a bus home as I have done a lot of walking this week.
Mr F is about the same - I creamed his flaky, peeling legs this morning and hoovered dead skin off the carpet. My poor little Shar is getting a lot of use.
Parcel just arrived - Mr F can't get his feet in the Cosyfee. slippers so they will have to go back on Monday. His feet and legs are very swollen.
My local A & E department is always heaving - remember we sat in chairs for 22 hours in November and I discharged Mr F in January days before he was taken in by ambulance. Now one of our Church family was fine on Thursday morning and started to have stomach pains and vomiting in the afternoon. I can understand A & E thinking - another case of Noro Virus but....she waited 6 hours for them to schedule an emergency scan. They found it was - aortic aneurysm - she was rushed to another hospital for an operation but her blood pressure dropped and she didn't come round. So our corps have lost 2 members in 3 weeks.

Thank you for my flowers, @Mrs_Salad_Dodger they’re lovely. I hope you’ve recovered from your dental “experience”.
@Muddy_Walker hugs ❤️ take plenty of rest, I can only echo what Soontobeoap says above. As far as decluttering is concerned, your health comes first. Best wishes.“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️
