I imagine you wouldn't get a credit date for a non-working day, but you could always try it and let us know what happensjudgingjudy said:Hanley Economic
As a new customer, I opened and funded the new account last week (account applied for on Tuesday 21st, FP sent Friday 24th when I got confirmation of my account details, credit date on my online account is 25th, which I got access to yesterday, Tuesday 28th). From what I'm reading on here, payments usually show on the next day and as this is funded by calendar month and the 1st is a Saturday, should I look to make a payment on Friday morning, hoping it will have a credit date of Saturday 1st, or would that be rejected?
Not sure if this has been covered somewhere or not so apologies if it's a duplicate.I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?1 -
I didn’t expect that I would have done, but I did last week which was why I mentioned it.surreysaver said:

Hanley BS
Thought deposits by bank transfer would be credited same day, just checked my deposit on 22nd morning 9.22am is dated 23rd.
I don't know why this was the case, taken from terms below

Hanley BS
Opened my account 27/10 around 8pm and made first payment by card using application reference. Received email about welcome pack on 28th at 11am. Phoned today to confirm the account was open and funded, which it was. Also was given my User ID over the phone. Checked my online account (setting a new User ID) and found payment was recorded as 27/10.
Very happy with this all. Just gonna wait on the letters in the post that I no longer need.1 -
They don't use Faster Payments so even though the payment was sent before 3pm they may not have received it until after.Aidanmc said:Hanley BS

I opened the Hanley RS earlier this week as an existing customer, and funded by debit card from within Hanley's online banking - payment appeared instantly, dated that same day.Aidanmc said:

IME with a previous Hanley RS, bank transfers are always dated the following working day.2 -
Principality BSI can't get their website to load on pc or phone. Anyone else having problems? Hopefully they aren't plugging loopholes!I have requested £200 to go to new 6 month issue 4 from my Xmas RS, am I right in thinking the account number stays the same so I can go ahead and set up standing order? (Can't check online due to above problem).0
