    I've just logged in okay. I say okay, both times I've tried to login it's said my password is incorrect and I've then copied and pasted it in (iPad) and it's been fine. There's no eye to make visible what was first entered so don't know what's going wrong in the first instance.
    Very similar  experiences with me, yesterday evening. (Online no app) Had to do a few attempts  before gaining  access.
    Just tried and took two attempts but eventually got in.
    Ta for that. No joy with Chrome or Edge on laptop, was OK in browser on Phone. Deed done.

    EDIT : Just realised that I have VPN running on laptop (it's been on holiday), probably the culprit.

    I just opened the Monmouth Issue 8 at 6% in the App as a new customer. App was fine & a/c opened easily, or was the one that was pulled something else?

    It was the MonBS Exclusive RS at 7% that went NLA on 18/9/25, I believe.

    When I asked in branch they said a general rule of thumb is if a payment is received by 2pm on any working day it will appear in the account on the app at 9am the following working day

    Good luck with that. I applied to open an account in July. On the 25th July had this reply:

    "Thank you once again for choosing to open an account with Monmouthshire Building Society.

    What happens next?

    Our team will now begin to process your savings application. We’ll be as quick as we can and appreciate your patience."

    But heard nothing afterwards. Have made an inquiry.. also still awaiting  a reply 

    I know others have had a totally different experience, so don't want them to get all excited.

    The app problems at the time are well documented. I've not seen any evidence that any other route has been impacted?

    If you still want the account, reapply.

    The account that was launched in July was open to everyone, whereas the August Exclusive launch required that applicants were existing customers. That would make it less likely that checks would be required.

    Also, the text of your email suggested an online application. These were pulled relatively quickly and not reinstated, suggesting that Mon BS were perhaps aware of an issue with applications submitted in this way.

    I had the same problem about a year ago which I solved by turning off AdBlocker Ultimate. (That extension is actually causing problems for me on several other websites at the moment)
