I’ve just printed off Savings Application Form as linked aboveflykiller said:I've just requested an application from from Monmouthsire and they wouldn't send one. I mentioned that I'm a current customer. He wouldnt budge.
And get into tomorrow’s post.
I’m not going to send a cheque will just see if they accept and open the Branch Exclusive and then fund online

I don’t have a printer. I went to the library and printed it there (20p per page). Luckily my local library is walking distance from home.flykiller said:
I would have done that if i had a printer. Just letting others know it looks like you cant request one over the phone. Cheers xcastle96 said:print it off from the links and send to them with a cheque. Worked for me/others. - maybe too late now but worth a go2 -

Well if they are, it would not shock me as the T&C's state branch only. No postal applications. So say thank you if it works.
I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.2 -
If sending a Monmouthshire application form by post, should I write £0 in the section about how much I would like to invest?0

I think I put 500, and sent no cheque and they opening the account fine. I never worry too much about these questions, I might invest more, or I might not!What_time_is_it said:If sending a Monmouthshire application form by post, should I write £0 in the section about how much I would like to invest?1 -
Minimum is £1, so I would expect a decline if putting £0. Add by Faster Payment if you feel the need.What_time_is_it said:If sending a Monmouthshire application form by post, should I write £0 in the section about how much I would like to invest?0 -
I've sent cheque because it is more convenient for me, but if I didn't I would put £500. I don't think it matters, but if you write £0 or more than £6k they might question if this account is suitable for you.What_time_is_it said:If sending a Monmouthshire application form by post, should I write £0 in the section about how much I would like to invest?0 -
Monmouthshire Building Society Branch Exclusive Regular Saver Issue 1"....Interest Rate AER / Gross - Variable: 7.00%Minimum Balance: £50Minimum / Maximum Regular Deposit: £0 minimum - £500 maximum per month...."
MBS enclosed a letter stating the minimum balance required for this account and returned my cheque which was less than £50.1 -
I'd include a cheque. An application form on its own (for an account you cant apply for by post) could simply go into the shredder. An application form with a cheque should require the cheque to be paid in, or returned to the applicant. If there's doubt, give yourself an advantage, no matter how small.DodgerPot said:
