I’ve also not been asked as yet (just the time taken for them to complete extra checks) and wonder whether those who have been asked are those that have moved in the last three years. Has anyone been asked for a Mitek without a semi-recent change of address?1 -

Melton has no maturity date so you may as well just withdraw from it as you stated.
Please could someone tell me how would I refresh my Darlington 5% account? I've only ever refreshed Lloyds before, I need the £1500 back from my Darlington but I'd also love to have an account maturing in July next year (it's currently my only "empty" month) so if I could refresh it tomorrow that would be great.
Thank you so much x
You would need to close the existing Darlington RS and when thats processed you should be able to open a new one.1 -

Back on topic, though: I have recently opened a new account with them (last few weeks) and despite having moved home within the last three years, I didn't have to complete any additional checks. I've been a customer since 2022, the year I moved, and I've only had to do the standard checks when I first joined. Perhaps I've been lucky, or perhaps the checks are only flagged for specific customer attributes.8 -

For clarity I have modified the following definition slightly, with the modified bit italicised:
Regular Savers Open To All - Regular savers that can be opened by anyone over the age of 21, with no postcode/regional restrictions, is not restricted to new customers only and does not require you to have been an existing member for any length of time. This section does include accounts which require you to hold another current/savings account in order to open it so long as opening the other account immediately makes you eligible for the regular saver. This section has been split over 3 posts due to character limits on the forum.
This shall not alter where any of the accounts are listed but is merely a tweaking of the wording to account for cases (e.g. the Saffron BS Refer-a-Friend Saver) where accounts exclude existing customers.

Usual drill:
Leeds BS Regular Saver (Issue 65) at 4.7% set to go NLA, replaced by Issue 66 at the same rate but a new maturity date of 1/7/27. Page 1 of this thread and the archived thread shall be updated later today.2 -
Interest to 30 June has been added to the 10% Virgin Money regular saver. The account matures on 31 July. Been good while it lasted.8

Has anyone had a 13th payment accepted and not returned? There's nothing in their terms but I seem to remember someone had their 13th payment returned.1 -
