I think the trend is back to branch with West Brom. My RS matured on Friday, so I phoned today to pull the money out of the Access RS, all very efficiently processed over the phone and I should have the money tomorrow.

Why many savers next month?  Mine matures on 2nd January. I opened my first issue 7 on 22nd December 2023 (I normally open RSs on the date they are launched), took 6 working days to get a new one opened - those who followed a similar pattern should be half way through the term now.

If they stop/pause online applications it will most likely be because at the moment they have enough funds to lend.

I won't hold my breath, but always make sure that I have an existing account of some sort.  Makes it easier to open new accounts and continuous membership might become useful one day.

I think so too! Although I have another account open in case it should change at some point.

Zopa have updated their Regular Saver which now pays 7.1% (variable) on upto £300/month for new accounts.

You still need a Zopa current account to get one but that is now out of beta so anyone can apply for one.

Further to the above West Brom BS Fixed Rate Regular Saver (Issue 7) at 6% appears to have re-appeared on their website so has been re-admitted to the list on the first page of this thread. The account appears to have remained as branch only for the time being.

I asked via secure message and they confirmed a 13th payment is allowed in July even if your balance is £3600.

Mine matures 27th July.

Thank you for your kind words, yesterday was set to be a tough day anyway but it just became a living nightmare.

At the moment I'm still in shock, it'll take a bit of time to come to terms with what happened yesterday. By shear coincidence though back in April I had booked this week off work as annual leave so I've at least got some time to come to terms with things.
