Now I can see I broke another rule.  I didn't read MMLS t&c this time because I already know all key features, but completely forgot about 12 month requirement.  We'll see what happens.
I opened a different "Members saver" with Saffron without having been a member for a year a few months ago, they closed it and returned my deposit, plus a few pence interest if I remember correctly!
Thank you.  It's good to know what to expect from Saffron.

I've had a similar experience with VM 10.38%.  I opened 4, one of them didn't align with conditions and was closed.  It took VM 7 weeks to close it and I received accrued interest.

Anyone had issues with Skipton's member reg saver 4, I opened it on the 30th May, Made a second payment at 00.15am on the 1st. Still not credited my account, after two call to them.
If you have one check your credit has been added.

Opened and funded the RS4 on 30th also, made 2nd payment today, all ok.
I didn'tt think Skipton credit/pay interest on deposits on non working days

Just logged in fine. Code sent by WhatsApp.

They used to send the code by SMS too, but doesnt seem to be the case today.
I can login via WhatsApp but it wont let me take money out of my easy access account!
Is this for the account that used to be 7%? I had a similar issue and it was because I was trying to withdraw the full amount which errored out. Turns out there was a £20 minimum to keep it open so it was either withdraw the full lot and close the account or keep £20 in there to keep it open.
I just got a message saying this can't be actioned please ring this number.
I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
    There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.

I've just logged in and did what you have outlined 'leaving £20 in the account' and it worked so thanks for that. It's strange though it never gave me the choice to close the account, may be you do have to ring them to close it?

Did they close it immediately? I feel like it would be better practice to give like 5 days for you to get in touch, in case they’d made a mistake etc. (albeit not the case in this situation)

Whilst it was a few years ago I had a regular saver closed by them due to not being a member long enough, (Though I actually had, I timed it perfectly and they just got the dates mixed up) I think it was a couple of days after opening the account when they notified me they had closed the regular saver and sent the funds back to where they came from.

I opened the account and funded it on the 7th of the month, and they closed the account returned the money on the 10th of the same month, with the following message in online banking secure mail:

"This account is for members who have had an existing relationship with Saffron Building Society for the past 12 months. Your recently opened account has been closed and the funds returned to your nominated bank account."

Has anyone made a 13th payment to this account? I have the one from last year that started at 7%. The T&Cs are a little ambiguous:
There is a minimum lodgement of £20 required to open this account and the maximum deposit per calendar month is £300, meaning you can save up to a maximum of £3,600 per calendar year.

If you open mid-month, there are 13 months where you can make a "lodgement", meaning the maximum you can save is £3,900. The above doesn't say there is a maximum balance of £3,600 + Interest, but I'd rather not send another £300 next month and then find it eventually bounces.
