Has anyone managed to get BoS renew to work, lately? I know there was discussion a while ago when others were finding it wouldn't renew with BoS message saying "something's gone wrong", and that's what I'm now getting, though it's worked in the past. Just wondered if anyone found a way round. I've got Halifax and both Lloyds to renew.
I wanted to refresh a Lloyds RS this week that still had 6 months to run. I couldn’t renew it, so I had to empty it, close it via chat and then I opened a new one the following day once the old RS had disappeared from my online banking. You can renew anytime, although I believe if you've already used a 'renew' for a RS for LLoyds, Halifax or BoS it won't allow you to renew again. I renewed my Lloyds but I can't renew Halifax or BoS because they all part of the same umbrella group. I now have to transfer all proceeds out, close via chat, and then wait for a fresh application window which can be anything from 10 minutes to 24 hours. My First Direct RS matured on the 4th of Feb but I was able to apply for a new 7% fixed RS 2 days before maturity but it still took 3 days to open due to high demand - there was a warning when I applied that it would take 3-5 days before the new RS would be opened.
Never needed to use chat to renew/reopen a regular saverReally not sure about this. I now have a collection of "Your [account] will change to an account with a lower rate..." letters for accounts that were renewed to easy access accounts months ago.Feels more like a system error rather than something they would do deliberately.0 -
I've just spoken to Mansfield BS, they've said they expect anything with a variable rate to drop by 0.5%, though this shall be confirmed by the end of next week.
This would take the Bonus RS issue 8 from 5.85% to 5.35%.4 -

When is it that The Nottingham do their regular saver ISA? Presumably that one should be coming up soon.1 -

I can see no reference to any of their Home Deposit Savers (issues 1 & 2) on their list of rate cuts or their lists of current interest rates so shall omit them from my list of rate cuts for now till I get further info on their fates
In November it was the same - Skipton didn't list the Home Deposit Savers in their published long list. A few days later they emailed, announcing the cut to 4.81%🤔 (Issue 1 was then 5.06%)3 -
HRBS rate changes announced for 28 February
Reg Saver 30 day notice (Issue 2, open account) remains at 4.60%
Issue 1 (NLA) 4.5%
Anyone with the matured Issue 1 now sitting in the "follow on" account will go to 3.75% (as it's a tracker at Base Rate -0.75%)
