With my track record of breaking IT systems it does not surprise me that it would happen to be me to be honest.Dizzycap said:Bridlington1 said:
I've tried Edge, Chrome, disabling ad-blockers, clearing cookies, then tried logging on using two different phones and the issue persists. I think I may need to make Beverley BS my first complaint of the year.Dizzycap said:
How strange as it should show the following:said:
I was going to wait till the interest has been paid and then withdraw down to the minimum, I've also got an Instant Access account I opened with £1 a while back so i was going to rescue the 6p interest that's accrued over the last few years whilst I was at it.surreysaver said:Beverley Building Society
Has anyone else checked the interest for their account? Mine appears not to contain the bonus, despite having adhered to the terms for the bonus.
Also, what were others going to do with their regular saver? I was intending to withdraw it down to the minimum to keep it open, but now may continue paying into it this year.
I don't seem to have the option to make a withdrawal from my account in their online banking though, this is despite having a nominated account set up and approved. I've even tried guessing the link to the transfer screen
https://beverleyonline.beverleybs.co.uk/CoreFundsTransfer/Index/{account number}. All I get is this screen with no option to input any payment details.
There's always one
That reminds me, I need to pester Cynergy again about the slight technical issues I'm having with them given it's been nearly a month since I had an update from their IT team, and I'll need to make a complaint to Dudley BS as they said they'd phone me back yesterday about the technical issues I'm having with them but failed to do so.
It'll be a busy dinner break tomorrow by the looks of things.1 -
Mine is maturing on 13th January. I received e-mail on 30th Dec, logged in and instructed to transfer full balance to my bank account. I couldn't see any decent replacement there. I have £1 in Double Access Saver (Issue 1), so my continuous membership is already sorted.happybagger said:Did anyone here open last year's Furness BS Christmas Reg Saver, I think it came out on/around 13 January, just wondering if you'd heard of a a replacement this year, or had any maturity options?1 -

I spoke to CS last week & asked if they were going to release a 2026 X-mas RS. Quote:- "We believe there will be a new RS launched in January but not sure when or what it will be called"7 -
Moving Funds
When moving funds to your current account to pay standing orders for regular savers, do you move the funds the day before they're due or on the day?
I always put the funds in the day before they're due so they're definitely there to pay the standing orders, but curious if I can get away with paying on the same day.
Current account is Santander if that makes a difference.

I usually pay direct to my RSs with the exception of First Direct. With that I pay on the same day as the internal SO. Hasn't failed since 2013. I used to leave £50 in it and had an £250 overdraft but they removed it and I just leave £5 in it now, still worksIt's a while since I bothered with the Santander RS but I have a £600 overdraft there anyway. Might be a solution for youYMMV with other accounts where you have to go via a current account1

I do it the same day the standing orders are due to go out.dibbles212 said:Moving Funds

Most banks will try and process standing orders twice before rejecting them (once just after midnight and once around lunchtime) and I know I will be up just after midnight to manually transfer the funds.
Of course, I also have a large overdraft facility with Santander which helps!

Day before.
Had problems when the gatehouse/Barclays palaver early in 2025 so now do it the day before, gives me an extra option.0 -
The day before, that way I can make alternative plans if the money has failed to arrive, for whatever reason. I tried moving funds by SO on the same day as my RS's went out and it worked great for a while before the money coming in arrived late one month meaning some were paid out of my overdraft, some of the SO 2nd attempts worked after the intended money arrived in my current account, but others didn't, so I ended up having to move funds manually after having to go through all the SO's to see which hadn't been paid - Far too much hassledibbles212 said:Moving Funds

@ Bridlington1- "With my track record of breaking IT systems it does not surprise me that it would happen to be me to be honest." And there was me thinking it was always me who broke IT & banking systems?!

Moving funds - another vote for the same day ever since easy access interest rates increased significantly. Santander allow you until 2pm to fulfil SO`s. I do it in the morning.0
