Furness BS credit standing orders made on the 1st to my account on the 2nd. Has anyone tried paying on the last day of the month to be credited on 1st of following month, which would, for the first month, technically be 2 payments in the same month?  Did it work?
I have this RS too and would like to know. I'm up for experimenting with this and I am going to do the £500.00 transfer first thing on Fri 31st of Oct 2025 and report back. ;)
    Is this the 4% RS?

Anyone else unable to make deposits into Manchester BS's regular savers?

I was able to make my initial deposit last month but this month's has bounced.

They've since said a letter sent to my address was returned and that they shan't accept deposits into the account until they've verified a copy of my passport and proof of address, which I sent over a week ago and have heard nothing back since then.

My SO for October was processed on Oct 1 by MBS, as I had hoped they would do. They hadn't asked me for ID, so I presume they could verify me electronically.

I made a deposit yesterday and it hasn't bounced, received text and email confirmation that they had received it. I haven't been asked for any proof of ID or address. When did you get asked for this? I only opened the account a few days ago.

Unless anyone's willing to make a trip to Newcastle (or lives locally), no cripticalness about it.
It's quicker to hop on a train than send something in the post and wait for the response.
