Has anyone reached the 5K ceiling and had their standing order removed without issues? I’m slightly hesitant to cancel mine because their terms state standing order of £1-150 is a must?
I have them since September 2020.  I've reached the £5k ceiling last year, so don't deposit anymore, but I've never used standing orders for feeding these accounts, always deposited manually.  You can cancel your standing orders without hesitation.

Posted my application (with cheque), 1st class, circa midday on Thursday; phoned this morning, and found out that it arrived, and the account was opened, Saturday; I was given the account number, added it to 'My Accounts', and when I checked this evening, the account was there, showing the deposit dated 30th.

Regular saver matures later this month. 13th payment has been returned. In the past Nationwide has allowed the 13th payment. Is this a change in policy?

Not as far as I'm aware. My13th payment to the RS went in and hasn't been returned? My NW current account set up 12 monthly payments after I had manually paid in the initial £200, so I left as it was.

NatWest and RBS don't have a minimum amount to fund every month, I've never had standing orders setup for either, just manually paid in from NatWest and RBS current accounts.

Think the only standing orders setup I've had before are HSBC, First Direct & TSB, TSB being 1 you can get rid of but the other 2 you have to keep unless closing but then you also don't earn the interest rate etc
You can cancel HSBC SO too.  It's just First Direct, I can't think of any other RS that requires SO.

No need to call them. If they have opened the account, it will appear in their app. You can then use the account number to add it to My Accounts.

I closed my Coventry seasonal RS today due to the rate dropping below my threshold and wanted to use the funds for other RS's anyway. Surprised to see that I seem to have only got a two-week penalty on interest instead of a full month. Not complaining :)

Re Monmouthshire branch exclusive RS, still nothing showing for me and my wife in the App. Posted forms last Wed am and based on others experience was hoping for something by now.
Ditto. Posted application form plus cheque last Wed am and nothing showing on app so far. Postal service where I am is not particularly reliable. I will phone Monmouthshire if nothing showing by midweek.
I shan't call them as I don't want to give Monmouthshire cause to look too closely at the open accounts I have with them!!!

Thanks, but I don't have a smart phone, so My Accounts only for me (and no App Exclusive RS either  :( ).

How long did it take to be returned?

I've not been with either for a while due to  HSBC mainly doing 5%, as for First Direct I have commitment issues so best not to start then get penalties, but I've successfully completed First Direct in the past a few times
