Just logged in fine. Code sent by WhatsApp.0

I’ve also been able to log into Progressive with no problem, code came by WhatsApp instead of SMS. If you’re using WhatsApp on your computer as well as your phone it will only show you the code on your phone, which I assume is some security measure to ensure you can only receive it on your primary device. Thanks to all those who responded to my question about my RBS regular saver - it’s much appreciated.1

A few quick updates:
Saffron BS Members Month Loyalty Saver has now been added to the first page of this thread.
With respect to Saffron BS's Refer A Friend Saver I have now amended the listing to state that the Ts&Cs have been changed on 2/6/25 to include a term that excludes existing members from applying. This account has therefore been moved to the Local/Loyal/Beta section on the first page of the main regular savers thread, which has been renamed to Local/Loyal/Beta/New Member Only accounts to reflect this.
For those who applied for the Saffron BS Refer a Friend Saver prior to this term being added, I did archive the original Ts&Cs to the wayback machine on Saturday for future reference, these can be found below:
https://web.archive.org/web/20250531084120/https://www.saffronbs.co.uk/MM_Refer_a_Friend_Saver
Chorley BS Regional 2 Year Flexible Saver (30.04.2027) and Chorley BS Regular Saver (30.04.2026) at 5.15% are both NLA. Replaced by Chorley BS Regional 2 Year Flexible Saver (31.05.2027) and Chorley BS Regular Saver (31.05.2026) at the same rate with new maturity dates (see page 1 of this thread for further details.
The interest rate changes for Monmouthshire BS & Mansfield BS have been noted and shall be added to the main list of interest rate cuts announced following the BOE base rate cut on this forum shortly. I have updated the list of Mansfield BS interest rate cuts to include a hyperlink of the rate cuts pdf as well as details of their other regular saver cuts. Apologies for not doing this originally, I was on my dinner break so only had my phone on me at the time.

I can login via WhatsApp but it wont let me take money out of my easy access account!Aidanmc said:ThePirates said:Just logged in fine. Code sent by WhatsApp.

The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.0 -
Progressive login screen reads "We have sent a 6-digit access code to you by SMS or WhatsApp. It may take five minutes for your code to arrive." but the input just says to enter "6 Digit WhatsApp Code".
It took a few minutes to arrive and I could login, wonder if it detects those without WhatsApp and falls back to SMS?
Edit: Just to add this is my first WhatsApp interaction with them, all previous login codes have been via SMS.0 -

Today no SMS, no whatsapp either.
Tried ''resend code'', still waiting for code to arrive, been 15 mins now0 -
It's possible to use an authenticator app (not necessarily the Salesforce authenticator, I use Google's) on your device to submit a code, if you opt in to this as your 2nd Factor Auth. No waiting for SMS or WhatsApp codes.ChewyyBacca said:

The current Virgin (Clydesdale/Nationwide) haven't done a regular saver before and before that I don't remember them doing maturity options when I had accounts with the older Virgin, so basically it's morph into a poop account and move money from that to elsewhere same with many other regular saver products.pokemaster said:Virgin 10% regular saver - maturing soon
looks like they are sending an email next month that will say it is going into an everyday saver at 2.23%, wonder why there won’t be any other maturity options? Was hoping for another good rate
Also how do you know what Virgin are going to email out?, have I missed something somewhere?2 -
Saffron
This whole refer a friend thing is a bit odd. As far as I can tell, the referred gets a good regular saver, and the referrer gets nothing? Highly unorthodox if so - generally the referrer would get like at least an Amazon gift card or something??
