Indeed it does, leaving the previous screen where a press of the login button brings up the pop-up.....
A great way of helping to prevent people being scammed.... if an endless loop means you can't log in then you can't transfer your life savings to that Nigerian Prince. Job done.

I'm not getting the problem with Firefox... these sort of issues seem to be getting more and more browser-specific.
Firefox working fine for me too.

I believe the condition from which I suffer is these days popularly known as 'FOMO:s
I'm still furious that I missed the 10% account last year...

Jumped in and grabbed the 6.5% yesterday even though it messes with my plans to spread my maturity dates throughout the year!

I know how you feel! I missed HSBC's 7% regular saver last year because I was trying to keep the maturity dates of regular savers spread out
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?

Just a reminder Hanley Economic BS Online Regular Saver (NLA) reduces from 5% to 4.7% from 1/5/25 (tomorrow).
    Thanks for the reminder.
    I'm contemplating favouring my Cov.FHS2  this month @ 4.8%.
Are there any terms for Hanley on minimum deposit, or missing monthly deposits?
    From the Ts&Cs:

The account must be opened with £1,000.

The minimum balance is £1,000, the maximum balance is £100,000.

A subscription of between £250 and £1,000 should be received each calendar month and you can vary the amount you wish to save. You can make more than one subscription per month providing the maximum subscription is not exceeded. You can make subscriptions by Standing Order, Bank Transfer or Debit Card. Please note Debit Card deposits can be only be made via the Online Portal/Mobile App.

If no subscriptions are made for 3 consecutive months or if 3 or more monthly subscriptions are missed throughout the anniversary year the Society, after giving you 60 days notice of our intention to do so, reserves the right to close the account and either return the balance or transfer it to an Instant Access Account.

You can make 5 withdrawals per tax year (6 April to 5 April) without penalty. All other withdrawals are subject to 30 days loss of interest on the amount withdrawn. Withdrawals will be made to the nominated bank account provided at the time of opening the account. £1,000 must remain in the account following a withdrawal.

Thanks, will reduce the deposit to £250 going forward.
I have withdrawn my balance bar £1 and will chance no deposits for the next few months to see how they react

HEBS appear to be very sharp. I already had an email reminding me that the min balance is £1,000 and that they would close my account in 60 days if my withdrawal was intentional. I duly made a £1,000 deposit as I don't want to give up that account - yet.
Thanks for trying and sharing.  I withdrew the minimum allowed £10k today (arrived within 4 hours), but wasn't sure how to deal with the rest.  Now I know I will be closing this account tomorrow or Monday.  The money will camp in 4.8% Chase until 8th May and then move to 4.75% Cahoots. Cahoot usually gives 60 day notice, so no point for me keeping £1k+interest in HEBS.  I hope closure is as quick as withdrawal, not the next working day.

Has anyone had any experience in closing Hanley's online/app accounts?
Is Cahoot not paying 5% now?
Yes, Cahoot issue 5 is paying 5%.  I've got 2 of them and they are full.  I was talking about issues issues 2 and 3, they pay 4.75%.
I have issue 2 @ 4.75% can I open issue 5 and if so, do I have to close issue 2.
I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
    There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.

The Cahoot website lets you open issue 5 without closing issue 2 or 3, many of us have with no problems. The T+Cs suggest you shouldn't, let's not be asking Cahoot for clarification as they will quote the T+Cs, and may decide to enforce them.

    Cahoot SD.
Yes, you can open issue 5 and you don't have to close issue 2.  I have issues 2, 3, 4 and 5 (two of each).

Personally, it's a bit of a yes & no answer. Once I've filled my tax free ISA allowance etc, I set about looking at RS obviously starting with the highest % rate and working my way downwards. I have 20+ RS with a minimum interest of 5.5% fixed; some of which will not be renewed once matured. However, others may approach their saving differently and may need to take everything on offer ;)

Thought I managed to make an extra payment to my Principality 6 month regular saver yesterday. It looked like it had been credited as my balance had increased, but it’s been returned this morning.

the terms does state that it has a limit of £1200, but I thought I’d test it anyway. In case anyone is wondering.
I've got away with it so far.......

It can depend on the amount of cash available to play with.  I take everything above 5%.  Also have a small number of 5% (only those allowing easy withdrawals/closures and without minimum deposits), but I fund them only occasionally, some of them I just keep on the minimum for speculative purposes.  49 all together, 45 of which are funded regularly to a max. Last month I've deposited £12k, this month will be a little more.  My RSs are not spread out equally across the year because I grab them at the launch, but it still works fine - always have enough returns in my EAs to fund the next round of RSs.
