Yorkshire Building Society Christmas 2025 eSaver/saver at 5% has disappeared from moneyfacts suggesting it shall soon go NLA.

For those with a Nationwide Regular Saver this might apply. A £50 bonus to celebrate taking over Virgin. Note this is separate (and potentially in addition to) any ‘Fairer Share’ bonus which was £100 last year. 

"To qualify for the £50 payment, members must have held a savings account, current account, or mortgage as of September 30, 2024, and still have the account open at the time the payment is made.

Additionally, members must have either completed at least one transaction on their current or savings account or maintained a minimum balance of £100 across their accounts or mortgage within the 12 months preceding September 30, 2024.

Nationwide has said that the payment will be issued on April 9 to approximately 12million eligible members, with the building society beginning to contact qualifying customers from today.

Members can also check if they qualify for the payment by visiting nationwide.co.uk/about-us/the-big-nationwide-thank-you/check"

I was wondering if there is a minimum amount to be paid in monthly (maybe like Fd reg saver that needs at least £25) ? Thanks for help

HSBC Regular Saver

When you have some extra cash to set aside each month and don’t need easy access to it, our Regular Saver could be a great way to help build your savings. You can save between £25 and £250 each month, and if you make no withdrawals, you'll get a 5.00% AER/gross fixed interest rate for 12 months.

• Start saving from just £25. Set up a standing order from your HSBC account to pay between £25 and £250 into your Regular Saver each month. If your regular payments are less than £250 a month, you can carry your allowance over, paying more in later months (up to a total of £3,000)

Regular deposits:

• Regular deposits must be made by standing order each month
  
• The minimum monthly deposit is £25 per month
• The maximum monthly deposit is £250 per month
• If you don't pay in the maximum allowed in any month, you can carry over the unused subscriptions and catch up in future months
