Furness online ARS - Is maturity 31/10/26 or 10 months from opening the account? If it is the latter you can get 11 payments in?

With everyone chomping at the bit  for the Furness RS anniversary to be released  online on 20th. What do more experienced  forum users expect the best time for the account to go live if it does?
I'll be checking Furness website at 9am on 20th.
Ok, thanks for that. Hopefully, I've  not missed the boat, and all the allocated accounts haven't been taken.

Maturity is 10 months from opening, 20th November if you opened it today. I didn't see any maximum balance stated so 11th payment should be fine.

On their website it says 10 months after opening. I expect I can make 11 payments so have made one manual opening deposit and set up 10 monthly SOs starting from Feb 1 (or 2)

Wow! that was quick. I just opened the account  online, and the details  matched straight away.
I had already opened an easy access account on the 12th, so no mucking about with ID.
It stated you have 14 days to fund, so is there any advantage to funding on 30th of this month?

I hope it's not going to become a trend  :#  :/  Overall, you really can't complain  ;) Online version opened & funded within 2 minutes (already a customer) - nice!
I'm sure someone will find a flaw to complain about, it seems to be the world we live in

I must admit it's the quickest account opening I've ever had

And from a Small Society, they deserve a lot of credit
Totally agree. Very impressed with Furness BS
There is the possibility of instant COP, so on that basis I would agree. Given the rate and that it is not even restricted to existing customers there was bound to be high demand and the niggles that come with it. As someone who never wins when a product is branch only, I say thank you very much Furness BS.

Not all societies generate the account number on the confirmation screen (Furness and West Brom are in this group) but regulars here will know that that is the way it is before deciding to apply. I think I actually waited longer for my EA last Friday night than for my account details today.

I’m happy for opening to take time as long as I get the account, but I can understand it people getting anxious on this occasion as it is known that there is a set allocation with a proportion already used up before online applications went live. As the account numbers are generated afterwards, I do wonder if there will be a few that eventually get an email saying an account number can’t be issued as they have reached the limit.

Not really, sooner you fund it more interest you will earn.

    FURNESS

Worst application I’ve ever attempted. ID system absolute rubbish-kept taking photos of my passport before I could line it up. Then many attempts at a selfie before being rejected. I’ll have one more attempt later, but not very impressed.
