Can get the form to download OK but note that an application from a new customer will need the usual 2 forms of ID to be sent - either originals or certified copies.Kim_13 said:
Hopefully the information Furness gave the poster re: accepting online applications from the 20th is accurate, as the download application form button sends you in a loop rather than giving you a form.friolento said:I'll wait for the 20th but if you are desperate, you can send your Furness application by post, apparently

Wonder if the expected online application will allow other ID processes to be used?0 -
I assume it will be the same as for any other account opened online and it allowed me to open the Triple Access last week with driving licence and selfie.flaneurs_lobster said:

Was going to pop to Nationwide and ask for a certified copy of a statement (they print it in branch and stamp and sign them) but so far no need.

I had also been on the phone to them, and they told me that I can post the application form or that I can wait until the 20th, when it will go online provided it hasn't sold out by then. I am going to take the risk and wait.NB. I have just tested the download, it works fine for me in Chrome.2 -
Is that service free? That's a useful resource if it's generally available.Kim_13 said:

Sounds like they've got a limit on the total number of accounts. If there hasn't been a massive take-up before the 20th, then I imagine there will be a bit of a rush once online applications open. How soon it takes for them to pull the account remains to be seen, depends whether they have an in-built counter or whether it has to be removed manually from the website.friolento said:Kim_13 said:

They didn't charge a family member of mine who asked before Christmas (although they did ask the purpose it was needed for and it was not opening an account with another society, which might not go down so well.)flaneurs_lobster said:

Says you get a passbook, so no online access? This would suggest no online applications on the 20th either.Kim_13 said:

If you have a good relationship with your local bank branches it can be very helpful. My local NatWest was happy to provide free certified copies of key documents, free of charge, without asking what it was for. And my local Nationwide printed some MansfieldBS documents for me free of charge in exchange for providing a home insurance quote.Kim_13 said:

Arggh. I'm going round the houses trying to open a new Club Lloyds monthly saver. My existing one matured today into a Standard Saver. I can't seem to find the option anywhere to open a new monthly saver account. Is it because it's matured today?Make £2025 in 2025
