  • Wanted a takeaway, resisted it! I also slimmed down my online basket. This is the month 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 I can stick to budget, I can!!! I feel good about being up to
£1000 in EF but to get it to stick I must be on point this month. If that works I’ll be on target for the other bits, and it will help me realise the reality of actually achieving the year plans which will be a great success and I don’t want to be over dramatic but possibly life changing. Now debt free I want to be moving on and up! 🤞🏼👌🏼 hopefully end of March I’ll be reporting good progress ✅🌟

Very stressful week. Made a conscious effort to do what I needed for me and my self care. Have remained relatively calm and mindful. Went on a lovey dog walk/stomp and that was fantastic. Going for a ride tomorrow, dog walk and then chill. I need to do floors and chores but I am prioritising rest and self care this weekend. It is much needed.
In good news I have not been to a grocery shop this week. Online delivery only and that has lasted me and I’m hoping for the same again, no top ups.
If I get to the end of March and have 2k in EF I will be so proud!

I have chilled this weekend, still feel tired! As I think about it though I have done all my housework, batch cooked and had lots of outdoor time. I think I could have a week off and do the bare minimum and then I might feel not tired? 6 weeks and then I can! 😬🥴😂 week doesn’t look as busy or stressful as last week, but it has potential to get hectic. I am going to stay very mindful this week about where I place my energy as I’m definitely feeling weary with it all. Money wise I think it’s going ok, especially as no CMS still 🙄. It’s good to not feel completely overwhelmed with debt anymore. That was a long hard journey and I’m excited for saving these days and not so excited to spend! Now for an early night and hopefully a lovely long and good sleep.

Loving your diary Budgeting Belinda! You are so upbeat and cheery, even in the face of a difficult situation. I admire your focus and determination. You are doing amazingly and this will be your month to achieve your EF goals! With a bit of luck CMS will also come through and you will be able to organise a little holiday. It sounds like you have it earned x

  • Dug deep this weekend. Felt so meh and burnout vibes. Work hectic, SEND mum hectic, life life-lifeing. Dragged myself out of the funk for long dog walk, horse ride and fun times out with kids. House chores can wait. I’ve rested and enjoyed the weekend. Budget hanging on by a thread atm, will check in with that at the end of the week. Fridge full, heart full, appreciating the wonderful small things and off to sleep! 💤

Hope your budget sorts itself out. Try to remember how far you have come and that sometimes things don't go to plan.

Your ex is a piece of work, I hope CMA sort him out as you and your kids deserve better.

I'm struggling with energy at the moment and feeling meh ...I think it's been a long winter.
Have you got some goals that you're working towards with the same vigour as the debt busting? I think sometimes when we've reached a goal we are left feeling a bit like, what now?
Glad you got some self care in though that will help if you keep topping up your cup first ☺️.
