I have just come back from MDs, One of the previous times that we got plants and soil I added a mini spade to use to pot the plants, it was nice and shiny and I really liked it. I left it in a known place to me. I went back there today because I needed it and it wasn't there, yet I am the only one doing the planting. I asked MD about it she said one of the lodgers probably borrowed it, then she said she had ordered another one and now I wonder what the hell is going on? Because it feels like I am being lied to. I'll see what comes out in the wash, but I don't feel right about this. I think I will go back to staying at home, I have had enough of the BS!
Today I did some planting for MD (using another tool!) and earned £10.00, I also have Added some cash from Prolific (£9.69) so cash pot total is £48.79 16%, currently prolific is standing at 0/£24.31 Pending.
Sometime later....
I have spoken with MD the spade has turned up, you probably think I am crazy, I just feel a repeat about some serious matters from the past. Anyhow all sorted. Tomorrow I am going to go over there to do the lawn and I am bringing food so we will have lunch...same as today Halloumi and pepper brioche rolls, yum! I also want to tackle a cupboard tomorrow in the spirit of being organised, at least one cupboard if not two or more!1 -
Good luck with the gardening, I too have favourite tools for planting , your lunch sounds delicious. Hope you get some news from your interview, take care1

Thank you @Newstartforme I appreciate the comments. I successfully mowed the lawn and earned £20 but spent some of this, so cash pot is at £56.43/ £300 which is 18% also I have not cashed out from prolific it is a bit short on surveys.
No news today I am expecting some tomorrow whether it is good or bad I do not know! The good news is, is that I am surviving.
Feeling negative, as well as optimistic albeit a negative slant!
I was right to have a negative slant, I didn't get the job! However cash pot now stands at £62.49/20%.0 -
Sorry to hear that . I've been told by a few friends that job hunting is particularly hard at present , whereby even getting an interview is not so easy so you must be doing something right x1

I have found more jobs to apply for and I am back in positive spirits. I am up to 4 No spend days, not very good, but will try and change this over the coming days. I have eaten quite a few bad things, I do this when life is more chaotic. I have cashed out £15.86 plus and minus circa £20, I am up to a cash pot total of £79.22 which is 26%. I still have £27 pending in Prolific.1 -
I need a little motivational list to get some stuff done, I hope you don't mind.
So the list:-
1) Wash up
2) Put washing on
3) dry washing up and clean sink.
4) Sort cupboard with bakery items.
5) Sort cupboard in the corner.
6) Sort other cupboard next to corner.
7) Clean worktops & Splashbacks
8) Clean microwave
9) water plants
10) R&R.1 -
Today I have cashed out £6.72 from Prolific after doing a few surveys which paid up straight away, I now have a cash pot total of £85.94 which is 28%. I asked MD if she has any jobs but she does not sadly. So I have had a brainwave, I will try and not travel until next week now around the 16th when we are over the half way mark, top up fuel, then whatever is left from £40 I will put in the cash pot, as that is what I have saved for it, the car does not need a lot of fuel thanks to MD topping it up recently.
Online shop for next week is finalised and it is within buudget of £50.00 @ £49.49. I feel amazed at myself for keeping to the budget. I know it is a necessity but to keep to it and not use the credit card is new for me, I am very impressed with myself, so a pat on the back to me.
I am glad I did those chores above, but it was a longer list I have shortened it, tomorrow I will tackle some more housework and do some more baking, YUM!
I have applied for several jobs there is one in particular that I am keen on, but we shall see, I will be happy with a response from someone right now about a job!1 -
Loving the lists CB , I've been trying the same and it's very motivating to cross things off though I would like to put the more difficult tasks to the top if the list and not the easy x1
